I've been repenting for years and it's brought me nothing in my life. All it does is make me weaker and allow me to be taken advantage of.

I've even tried repenting of my own weaknesses to be stronger willed and while that's helped a bit, I'm still not redeemable by any sense of the word.

Shiva is a cool god though, I'm glad he popped up.

Aight but, repenting implies also quitting those negative habits you're *repenting* from
I dont know what makes you so irredeemable but, stop that. Understand God is anxious to forgive you and take you back

My circumstances were me not knowing how I was fucking up my life and making mistakes until it was too late, and unironically a too strong belief in God, in things working out in the course of their own time.

It hasn't and it won't at this point.

Did you have fun at least?
Was your bad behavior worth it?

You were already redeemed from your sins though

Well you made your choices.
Iโ€™m sure they were worth it.

The good news is you're not the worst and there is hope. General Buttnaked used to eat children's babies in public, now he's a preacher in Liberia.

He probably didn't do anything bad exactly, just probably thinks he's worthless. Isn't correct about this

Learn to forgive yourself and try your best to be a better person in life that makes the world a better place, and you'll be partially redeemed, absolutely. Grab some sunlight safely too while you're at it, because it's good for you.

And just remember that everybody is redeemable so long as you're sincere about it and are willing to make positive changes to make it happen, and that includes you too, anon. So good luck on your path to redemption, buddy. Go on and redeem yourself! Thanks.

Learn the virtue of compassion, and then apply compassion to your life. Compassion is virtuous because its a recognition of suffering, and a commitment to care about the being suffering, rather than ignoring it or abandoning it. Compassion is basically deciding that you aren't going to abandon your own broken heart, and see yourself through to the end, rather than hiding your own consciousness from yourself. That consciousness, giving humble, weakly, truthfully, is the source of true love. This type of love isn't strong, its not powerful, its not dramatic, its simple, gentle, faint, pure, and kind. Its the love that comes from recognizing the fragility of life, and making a decision to nurture that fragility rather than breaking away from it, breaking it, or ignoring its existence.
This type of compassion is the power to redeem yourself, to within grace according to Gods nature. Even if you don't believe in anything, the act of sharing this compassion with your soul and existence, gives you credentials as a being with a virtuous heart, and that heart is forgiven for anything it does.
God sees this weak version of you, the one that wanted good, but couldn't get there, and gives mercy to you. Redemption comes through atonement.

Careful with the will... mine has blinded me. I believed I was doing right. And all it did was blind me to any introspection. Now I absolutely mistrust confidence. It's too close to arrogance and dominance.

You could think about looking into other sects, or even another religion altogether if you can't accept the repentance spiel. Deciding to bring something new into your life without worrying much over the Christcuck's "Step on a Crack, Break your Mother's back!" tier threats takes courage! You don't need Repentance, all you need is Awareness. Since one similar option has already been given, consider Neo-Paganism and/or Wicca. You don't have to try to pronounce 7-syllable Hindu words.

>The Advantages of Paganism:

>* No salesman will call! *
You won't be drawn into the Heresy Wars.
You won't have wet-behind-the-ears puling infants asking if you're Born Again in church.
You won't need Faith because the gods ARE. They're both supernatural and rooted in the natural world.
You won't have to obsess about sin.
Paganism and Shamanism go back 7,000 to 20,000 years.
It's more rational than Xtianity.
You can explore religion without having someone in a funny hat and robes or a Preacher Suit and reversed collar telling you what it is and what you must believe, or not believe.
You can re-link yourself to Nature (Religion means 'Relinking').
Mythology is actually all about you.
Your actions speak louder than your words.

Why mock what the ignorant do to ruin themselves? Does it make you feel powerful? Have you never erred? Have pity.
