No, because if you can choose trail path a or trail path b doesn't matter, the agency to do this is irrelevant compared to the ability to design what each trail is and where it ends up.
If your starting point is ignorance and something controls the context of what you are, how you function and what the context of your environment is, it will ultimately control that entire life regardless of what choice tree you branch off into.
