/AP/ Apocalypticum Thread #2 (Parallel Worlds, Soul, and Dreams)
Thread #2 (Parallel Worlds, Soul, and Dreams)
Previous thread about Antarctica: >>40958904
what happens when we sleep?
Physiology and biology are boring and normie. Body rests, brain reboots, blah blah. Let's talk about what really happens to the soul.
be me
go to sleep
soul leaves body
starts wandering between worlds
Some of these worlds are weak-reality zones that you build yourself. It's like a sandbox. You can do anything, especially if you become lucid. But it feels empty. No real life there.
The kicker?
When you wake up, your soul snaps back to your body in your original reality at lightspeed.
But sometimes... sometimes it goes wrong.
be soul
wake up in another body, in another reality
everything looks the same
but something feels off
that split-second feeling you're still between worlds
this is how you know
you fucked up and landed in the wrong reality
Other realities are layered around our "original" one.
the center is always where YOU are
realities close to center are almost identical
the further out you go, the more alien and fucked up everything gets
How do you know you're in the wrong one? You might not. But the glitches are there:
Mandela Effect
relationships with loved ones suddenly different
shit you own is missing
memories are distorted or have holes
panic attacks for no reason
You can even go insane. Not because you understand, but because the reality itself rejects you. You're a bug in the system. You don't belong here.
Which brings us to the big question:
are there other versions of my soul in other realities?
No. Only one soul.
In other realities, "you" are just an autonomous shell. A NPC.
Your real soul is you, here and now. This is the quantum entanglement paradox of the soul.
Now you know. Now you're aware.
