>why yes I am enlightened and have out of body experiences
>when you have one you will be enlightened like me
>when you become enlightened and spiritually aware your heart will be filled with nothing but love

Is any of this shit real or is it just grifter after grifter?

Nothing is immune to grifters but what I've found with my time doing the gatway tapes is that it's an attempt at secularizing woo. Fair enough. But imo if you're "trying to help enlighten the world" and come from a place of "pure love" etc., why not just put your stuff on youtube or something and make it accessible to everyone? They can still make money that way but it's also still available to everyone who's truly interested. This dude is obviously a very well off boomer, so why does he need to charge so much for a cheap automated wordpress site that just gives you access to his media? Musicians don't charge $350 for their records.
It doesn't make sense from a basic logical standpoint. Trying to improve the world is not compatible with charging ridiculous amounts of money for such basic stuff.
Is your argument basically: "you're not ready for this stuff unless you're ready to fork over a bunch of money"?

No. She had gold armor and I called her the golden goddess for a few weeks. I figured out that a pleasant bodily feeling was her affirmation of what I did or said, and asked somewhat jokingly "Where would I worship you, the Pantheon?" Nothing. "Mount Olympus?" Yes. Later I pulled up a list of "Greek gods" and asked if she was Athena, nothing. Aphrodite, yes.

Keeping of occult knowledge is exclusively done to maintain power. The Egyptian high priests didn’t hold their knowledge close to keep people safe, they used it to enrich the kingdom and the pharaoh. This is the nature of all esotericism. It’s a source of power! But it’s short sighted to keep it to yourself, knowledge is meant to be shared. The only way you risk self destruction is by undergoing this journey by yourself without proper guidance and that’s exactly the situation that priesthoods and cults of secrecy create for new practitioners. This shit should be as abundant and well known as washing your hands.

He's right. You have no idea what you're doing. To access other realms puts you in a very open or exposed state. Entities can and will attach to your auric body if you don't take proper precautions. There's a reason that ceremonial magic focuses so heavily on banishing rituals in the beginning. Only adepts should do any of this. Why do you think New Age and psychonaut communities (which are and have always been intelligence ops) push so hard for these types of experiences. Salvation doesn't lie in astral projection or eating bizarre shit we were never supposed to eat. It lies in knowledge and direct experience. If you're gonna insist on this stuff, stick to lucid dreaming where you at least remain in complete control within (rather than outside) the microcosm

Esoteric and occult knowledge is not for the masses, they have little use for it as they don't understand it nor in their nature. At worst it can be a danger to themselves or others, there are indeed many evil and wicked people who use it for their own goals at the expanse of others.
It require a seeker of knowledge and truth to pursue the mysteries.

>There's ZERO danger
Sure, the countless demons and hungry ghosts out there are DEFINITELY not a threat, at all, to anyone. They're all your friends.

OBE can be good and very useful. But it is an advanced practice. Can you do it without being advanced yourself? Sure. Will it benefit you? Marginally, or even not at all. What absolutely can happen though are attacks from astral beings, just as much (if not more, depending on on where you are) as you can be helped by astral beings. Both have happened to me. But I would recommend waiting until you're ready and can adequately defend yourself if you find yourself in a bad spot. You benefit the most from astral travelling when you've become spiritually advanced in daily life such that the difference is marginal, and it would alsi help to know appropriate purification rituals to clense both yourself (I recommend doing acamana, then pranayana, and finally japa, in this order in the morning) and the area you're in.

Very simply you run the risk of getting your subtle body damaged, which can cause long term mental health problems (ranging from benign to detrimental) that require extensive care of one's chakras and channels to fix (if you manage to fix it). In worse cases it causes issues which share symptoms with schizophrenia and/or depression. I had a friend who got possessed, and he was frequently seeing horrible visions and voices, and as such was depressed all the time. In a case where I got attacked and couldn't escape/defend myself, it was a much more benign problem since it was some sort of succubus (I felt drained for about a month afterwards). In the absolute best scenario nothing happens, but it's odd that people such as yourself seem to shoot down any cautionary advices with the practice.

Just practice yoga (doesn't really matter whether it's ashtanga, hatha, or even something within Vajrayana, as long as you consistently practice traditional authentic spirituality in daily life outside of any attempt at OBEs) to strengthen your astral body as a biproduct of a more spiritual trajectory in life. Then very specifically before doing anything like astral travelling, which should be treated as an advanced form of yoga or meditation; just perform acamana and sprincle (with care) some of the sanctified water you used on all the thresholds of the house you're in (including windows). If you're paranoid or have been attacked where you are, then you can sanctify water with the Narasimha mantra (Om Sri Narasimhaya Namah) and sprinkle it on the thresholds. Then you're pretty much good. You can find the appropriate mantras and mudras online, for free.

As for getting into the state, if you seriously practice daily sadhana and then try the techniques you've learned from that lifestyle when you go to sleep (or, even better, when you wake up very early in the morning and attempt to "doze" for an extra hour or so) it should become fairly easy to have OBEs (and meaninful dreams as well). That's what worked for me at least. I observe when my body goes to sleep, my mind wants to dream, and try and keep that observing awareness until I get either a swingin or vibration sensation, from which point I simply roll out or sit up. Then, in that state, these days I typically meditate instead of travelling.

As for fearmongering, is it fearmongering if you tell someone crossing a street for the first time to pay attention so as to not get hit by a car? And simply saying "I've done it X many times and I've never been hit" isn't exactly helpful for such people. Sure, if you cross a road somewhere in rural Alaska there's not much chance you'll get hit with a car, but some people live in Chicago.

Again, I'm not saying people should be afraid of OBEs or otherwise try their best not to have them. I'm just saying that stating that "there's absolutely no danger" is irresponsible.

You didn't answer my last question. How old are you and how long have you been doing this?
