I would advise a policy of contempt and skepticism towards them. not in some sort of therapeutic or helpful way, just because if they exist just like you and I exist, then at the most fundamental level, the most elementary whatever at the bottom layer, you have that same animating force and will to live as they do. whether or not you enjoy being alive is not the same as the will to being alive, which you obviously still have.

admittedly, they are more complex creatures than you and I, but so are we to the otter and platypus. do you see us going around fucking with them more than we have to just to be assholes? nope, we treat them like friends and even watch over their habitats. the point is, what mercy can we expect from above us when we are so cruel to those below us?

in that same vein, any harassment on their part would be akin to animal cruelty to us, even worse, baby animal cruelty. they know how we live, our languages, our way of life, and how to speak to us on our terms, yet they choose to interact with fear and manipulation. consider the Jesuit principle of discernment- interaction with divinity leaves the person with a good feeling during and after, while interaction with evil leaves the person confused, anxious, and scared. therefore, give them contempt and skepticism. tell them how tired you are of their bullshit and that they need to punch on their own kind and fuck off. works well with lucid dream entities, worth at least some laughs with *the voices*.
