It's because of modern video games and smart phones. I've seen the change in people over the years.
When people have endless entertainment at their fingertips and get sucked into video games like crackheads, this is the logical conclusion.
It's not that nobody wants to do anything anymore, they'd just rather be glued to their screens 24/7.
People can't even sit and have a conversation anymore without pulling their smart phone out as soon as there's the slightest lull.
