I have started meditating very recently, everything is good, it's actually enjoyable unlike what i was expecting, I heard of people getting mystical experiences or later on getting impressive synchronicities that have started to rain on them after they 've started to meditate, any of you have such interesting experiences along such lines?

While meditating, sometimes I can see through my eyelids. And maybe also in the dark, with a greater field of vision, behind myself, through objects, further away, etc. It find it weird.

I'm still a complete novice, but sometimes I see images flash through my mind like hypnagogic hallucinations. Random things like an old wooden rocking horse, an eagle, a lotus flower. One time I was meditating and saw a huge cross in a dark void suspended over water, a bit like Salvador Dali's Crucifixion. It seemed to grow larger as I grew smaller underneath it, and I could feel weight pushing down on my back. I haven't experienced anything like it since then, it's really the only mystical thing that's happened to me.

guys you can get halucinatiosn very easy at all times just go into the dark an press your fingers into your eyes(not too hard)

That has happened sometimes, while trying some memes, maybe "light being" ????? practice???? Sometimes I drift off into full movement with the Holy Spirit: He guides me directly to something in another "realm"? I become semi-lucid occasionally.

After 2 years of meditation I could totally relax my body and breathing in less than 10 minutes, this total relaxation could easily take me away into sleep but keeping my posture erect and my awareness sharp I could stay awake, so many times I entered into dreams/astral projections/whatever.

The most common I experienced were old forgotten memories from my childhood popping up, many of them were emotionally charged, I viewed this experience as a way of "solving" by letting go of those memories.

If I stayed for a long time in meditation (over an hour) I think that I viewed past life experiences, some of them were in great detail.

Other times I got visited by voices or entities which wanted to talk to me about various subjects.

When im in serious need, I'll find myself entering much deeper meditative states. This first happened to me at university.

I dont know what the orb is, and it doesn't speak to me with words, yet I understand it. It only shows up when I am meditating on something which is having a major emotional or rational impact on me. It immediately made me a believer in transcendental meditation.

Dunno if this is beginner stuff but one day I realized how I became basically blind and deaf without knowing. As in, I would see or hear no actual thing anymore, just the crude representation of those things.

I think they call it rupa or something like that. Raw information vs interpreted information

stillness is poorly taught in general
if you dont get stillness right, you never get samahdi
just putting in a lot of time trying to stay still isnt necessarily going to do it
the focus on what you're doing needs to be cultivated well
long chains of uninterrupted awareness is a key target
the movement within stillness is contained therein

It's funny that you replied to me right now, I just opened this thread after training 15 minutes of anapanasati just how you have taught.
Stretching my frozen diaphragm to go deeper is hard and I know that it will take time but I will stick to it.
The rate at which my mind produces thoughts decreases when I get into really good slow and deep breathing.

other than bodily vibration type sensations occasionally, every now and then I get a flash of imagery in my minds eye. i wear a blindfold, but the images are as vivid as eyesight. just for a split moment tho

I was able to do the same thing after awhile. I could see through my eyelids, roof and see the stars as I would go to sleep.

What types of meditation did you do before you could start seeing through your eyelids and for how long did you meditate? I personally was meditating to the Gateway/ hemisync for about a month and started to see through my eyelids, roof and see the stars!

you can usually tell about how far someone has gotten by how they describe things or things they deem important when conveying the message

When I was younger and meditating on the daily I had an experience where…The darkness behind my eyelids…I noticed a light from ‘above’. Without moving my head I looked up, and saw a hole. Like realizing you’re just sitting in a small, hollow, almost claustrophobic cylinder. I climbed up and out, and saw a beautiful mountain with beautiful scenery surrounding it. I began to grow interested, I wanted to stay, but that sensation of wanting to ‘stay’ pulled me back into the cylinder. In another instance, I was focusing on relaxing my body and brain. I found one particular knot of tension, and when I relaxed it, a voice went ‘surprise!!’ In my head. Vaguely female, like a little girl. That alarmed me. Another time, I was relaxing into meditation, and felt as if struck by a bolt of lightning. I was indoors. Another time, it was like the reverse—from the bottom of my spine into my brain, creating a temporary ‘lubricated thought’ state of being. Like my brain sat down for the first time ever. These instances intrigue me more than astral projection in all honesty.

Every time I sit to meditate I always immediately see eyes around me looking at me, if I stay long enough there sitting in the dark I may go to strange places like what seem to be other planets. Sometimes I go into fantasy-themed places with elves and dwarves, this happens 90% of the time I sit to meditate.

Can someone tell me what to do? How do I achieve all this blissful states e.t.c.? I sit upright with no back support and I am always wide awake when I meditate, my breathing is calm although I think it's not that deep.

this is why master Yang at ymaa wrote in a couple of his meditation books to not pay attention to the scenery
you wind up on these tangents and the tangents get habituated
what you need to do to counter this is keep your awareness fixed and present and dont allow these tangents
perchance they begin, you need to return your awareness immediately and abandon the tangent
achieving blissful states basically arises when the body is harmonized to the point where the pineal-pituitary axis is harmonized and well functioning, activating a top down endocrine harmonization
one should experience accelerations of the metabolism when this threshold is crossed
but, if your mind & awareness are off other places, you kinda preclude these things from happening
