On the ultimate level, there is no separation: God, the demiurge, Satan, you, me, the entire universe, all come from the same essence. Mandarins and goats are quite distinct in manifestation, but in the cosmic root, they participate in a single flow of energy, a single dream.
This is not a negation of differences; it is an understanding that all these differences are facets of the same reality. Like waves that are distinct on the surface, but all belong to the same ocean.

the wording is deceptive.
because that word there, "knowing" is not what it actually means.
its not the mundane knowing, as in, having the information, pondering, reasoning, understanding.
its not that at all.

there is a specific type of insight, that can be grasped by a higher faculty, directly, bypassing or transcending reasoning and this phenomenon has a transformative effect.
zen people call it satori.
gnostics call it gnosis, though in modernity, its misrepresented.

it is in the domain of spiritual powers. its something of the same caliber as telekinesis. its beyond the mundane and its not something you just do.

this "knowledge" does not arise by itself (though sometimes it accidentally does, the pathless path), but you can't count on it.

there are other hints in other mystery schools, the well known saying of "know yourself" gives a clue.
digging into older literature, you figure out that to "know" is sexual in nature.
"Peter knew his wife and she begot him a son" is a classical usage of the word to "know".

Logos endlessly pursues and tries to grasp and categorize Chaos, one infinity running after another infinity that is always one step ahead, like the ouroboros or a dog chasing its own tail.
Trying to use Logos alone to reach union with the One is a fool's errand.
On a human level it would be like trying to capture and comprehend every aspect of a moment in time simultaneously, down to infinitesimal detail.
