What are some paranormal/supernatural explanations for why we are drawn to beautiful faces? I don't think genetics is the answer. There's ugly people who have good genes. I think there's something deeper. What if all angels (we become angels too in the afterlife from our closeness to God) look outrageously beautiful, more than we can even imagine, and seeing beautiful humans on Earth causes the soul recognize a fragment of celestial perfection? Or is it something more paranormal like angel-human hybrids (Nephilim), alien hybrids, or fae ancestry?

Beauty is an indicator of health and fertility. Skin, for example, can tell you if a person has any serious diseases. How white are the whites of her eyes? Blood pressure issue. Cracked teeth? Bone problems. Cracked nails? Deficiency. Yellow skin? Liver failure. Dark area behind the neck? Diabetic.

recently I've been looking back on my life, trying to more clearly identify my youngest memories specifically
I recalled a relative that I never really met since he passed away while I was young (like maybe 5-6)

I asked some of my family about him and I immediately resonated with his lifestyle
it was a strange feeling, like I really SHOULD have known him but I just never got the chance

Appearance of the flesh prison literally has nothing to do with the quality of the soul contained therein. Some of the most wonderful people I have ever met were fat, rough-looking bikers covered in tattoos. Some of the worst people I have ever met were dapper well-to-do types in their Sunday best. People that are considered very attractive are generally the most narcissistic and entitled in my experience, with very few exceptions.

I'm assuming that beauty is simplicity, and the most "simple" designs are symmetrical, and we find symmetrical faces beautiful.
But then it turns out that symmetry and simplicity are actually hard to achieve because designers always want to add more stuff. In reality, the best computer mouse would be a single button. It shouldn't even be able to move. Just one context-sensitive button that always knows what you want when you press it. Such a thing would be "beauty". We would keep it as a relic.
So rather than doing things right, design is just about doing nothing wrong. No bloat. When people have bodies and faces like that we wanna keep them as relics.
The rare ones where all the "wrong" mutations didn't surface. The one clay pot that comes out perfectly round. Truly a divine moment.

It is. Both theirs being attractive and yours being attracted.
The actual form that beauty takes is kind of up in the air as to why. What is beautiful is CLEARLY not social because it's been constant in all fine art.

The angles, curves, and composition is much appreciated by hunters as a matter of skill for biological survival. I think this lies at the root of driving, solving shapes, and appreciation of forms.

This. 100%. Their fathers or grandfathers would've had to be wealthy to be able to make big families with multiple kids, and that means subservience to the system, and it means these people are more likely to have joined some kind of brotherhood. Basically they would've had to sacrifice something to gain these "wealths". There doesn't exist "good looking people" that are "poor", it's very rare. This is why most of the "good looking" wealthy people (like parents/grandparents had multiple kids) come from families who serve satan or something.
