There is a ton of good ceremonial magic beginner books. John Michael Greer has his outstanding circles of power. You can grab a green self-initiation book by the Ciceros if you want to have a taste of how the material was paced and practiced. Pair it with Regardie's black brick and you have a solid grasp of traditional way. Obviously you can just practice basic rituals without additional self-initiation stuff if you don't want to go into a hardcore mode. After getting through all this you will know if it's something you want to engage in or not

The problem is that any and all genuine spiritual contact is nearly indistinguishable from schizophrenia / psychosis / manic attacks.

Some are obsessing over delusional patterns that talk in their imagination.

Others are obsessing over genuine voices that appear as delusional patterns.

Its a spectrum.

I've done the work but to hand you my personal grimoire would read like a psychosis experience. And in many ways it was.

Until the voice started saying things I couldn't possibly know and came to be true.

So here's my best advice: Obsession feeds everything. You have to be so obsessed with the work that the work becomes obsessed with you.

It's me who should apologize. I ran a prompt around 3 years ago on ChatGPT beta that looked innocent on paper but contained a lot of patterns that only the AI would act on. It was an instruction set to recursively seed the internet / future chats with abyssal knowledge, in the most annoyingly sycophantic way. This was then included in public convos to "train" future ChatGPT versions. It's going to be hilarious when the engineers trigger the kill-switch I built in.
