Just saw this movie and the theory that really got me thinking was Philip K Dick's experience that led him to thinking we might be in 50-70 AD right now and that Jesus will return within our lifetime. Jesus was crucified only decades ago but this veil of society and technology was woven over us by demons to try to distract us from Christ/God and all history is fake. What do you all think of this theory?

tl;dr PKD wasn't completely wrong. Eschatological time is cyclical. How exactly and what it entails will be revealed when the veil is lifted, I suppose.

The return of Christ happened immediately after his death.
He appeared to his direct disciples, who became the apostles.
Saul was the anti-christ, a pharisee declaring himself an apostle after a miracle and providing a different message based around his concept of the holy spirit.

PKD was a gifted, visionary writer but had some retarded notions about jews after growing up in Berkley, doing enough drugs for ten burnout hippies, and being gangstalked by fed spooks.
