Why is there no proof of souls existing yet? This question has plagued my mind forever but so far there's nothing. The scientists are adamant it's just an illusion in your brain or whatever but that explaination sounds even more ridiculous to me.

I didn’t used to think souls existed and I still don’t believe in individual spirit type souls but I think there is a collective soul that our brains tune into. Each person’s brain is like an antenna set to a specific channel. I think this is logical because it follows how intelligence seems to operate elsewhere. If you write a complex logical sequence down on a piece of paper, that logic exists separate from both you and the paper and the writing, it’s something that your writing accesses. The same must be true for our own intelligence. Logic is not created when your pen hits the paper, it exists everywhere and we tap into it. Same with intelligence.
