it's crazy how few paranormal /x/ video games there are. paranormal stuff is very popular on tiktok/youtube/etc but somehow that hasnt translated yet to games. why is that? is it just an opportunity nobody is capitalizing on yet? is it because when someone makes a -true- conspiracy game like pic related, the dev gets killed by feds? (that literally happened btw). maybe the people who code games just aren't generally interested in paranormal? i want to make an /x/ game, i have this headcanon where i have stitched most major conspiracy theories into a coherent world history / cosmological model / etc. i want to play paranormal games but i cant find shit. most games in the genre are surface tier retard shit about ghosts and zombies, that's not what im talking about. is that all that's available because the average Goymer retard is too stupid to understand anything deeper?

the answer is simple: you aren't making the game you want to make, just like most schizos aren't making games
the ones who can program go off the deep end all the time, and the ones who could go full schizo but can't program end up dating an artist and making a visual novel instead

Morrowind is basically a vedic/gnostic spiritualism redpill in video game form if you read and better yet actually parse the ingame books (plus some bits of out of game material by the author). Nevermind how the main story revolves around straight-up conspiracies and is ultimately about uncovering truths.

Control is a great paranormal game, it is heavily inspired by SCP Foundation.

Although it doesn't really go that deep into the subject, it's more like the backdrop for the gameplay.

This entire game is an occult book. The protagonist was a mage so powerful that could separate his mortality into a new persona, gaining a "pseudo-immortality", but he didn't know that in the process, he lost the capacity to transcend and achieve the true immortality.
