Are games revealed by demons allowed?
In December last year, one anon posted in /tg/ about a new game of dice and cards, describing the full ruleset. He mentioned that the game was revealed to him by a demon. I made notes, but it seems the thread has been lost to time. Now I am curious about how the game plays and want to write a little program of it because I don't have all the implements at home. From a Christian standpoint, what do you think: if I do this,
1) am I sinning;
2) did only the OP in the original thread sin by allowing a demon to introduce a new temptation to the world through him;
3) is it a natural part of the process by which satan causes evil in the world and I have no personal blame;
4) do my actions have no religious dimension or
5) is something else going on?
I usually view gambling secularly and don't see how just a set of game rules can be used maliciously, but since OP claimed a demonic source, I suspect there might be something bigger to this. I need multiple opinions because vox populi vox Dei.
Separately, I'm asking whether it would be a sin to reveal the game's rules and full origin story to make it easier for you to assess the situation.
Pic is from the OP of that thread. I only saved thumbnails, but it's easy enough to discern their content with accompanying text.
