This is how you shape reality itself
Heed, for this is the arcanum of the world and the art by which it may be bent.

Two pillars uphold creation: Mind and Spirit. Logos and Ruach, Nous and Pneuma, the thinking flame and the breath that gives it force.

This world feels “material” because its denizens agree to meet there. Consensus is a liturgy; belief, a covenant. The veil of matter is a shared attention, call it maya, woven by countless Minds concurring.

A being’s Spirit, its charge, clarity, and courage, sets the gravity of its presence. Where Spirit is abundant, reality curves. Thus the world at times seems to arrange itself around those of great Spirit; events fall toward them like filings to a lodestone.

Yet Mind is the lens; it shapes the beam that Spirit projects. Mind names, frames, binds; Spirit empowers. Light without lens is flood; lens without light is form without life.

Consider: if a potent Spirit is wholly persuaded of the ultimacy of matter, that conviction nails the world in place. Their certainty acts as an anchor, stiffening the fabric and limiting the play of possibility for others.

Therefore, the one who would deviate the given and work upon reality must do two things. First, consecrate Mind, purify its images and assumptions until they agree with the aim (kavanah). Second, amplify Spirit, through the disciplines that deepen presence: silence that gathers breath (hesychia), devotion that aligns desire (bhakti), endurance that tempers will (tapas). When lens and light are married, the ray is coherent.

“As above, so below”: as within, so without. Align the inner republic of thought, kindle the throne-fire of Spirit.

Then the consensus loosens, and creation, ever obedient to clear seeing and great heart, inclines to your word.

Pride and arrogance. There I condensed the entire OP with 3 words.

Allow me to disagree

While any system can be used to stray from God's perfect ways, the result ultimately rests on how one uses it

You're a dumb ass for thinking you can abuse this system, let alone thinking God's ways are a system to begin with.
Anonymous No.41057813 [Report] >>41057853
>>41057788
I never recommended abusing anything

God's perfect ways certainly aren't a system, and are far beyond logic

However, that achieving it is impossible should never be an excuse not to try to approach moral perfection

Every thought and every system is merely a tool, at least as far as human capacity goes

You don't need to, it's hypothetically pointing to abusing something because this is not how it's done. Thankfully, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

>However, that achieving it is impossible should never be an excuse not to try to approach moral perfection
You're an idiot for thinking perfection can be found outside of God.

>Every thought and every system is merely a tool, at least as far as human capacity goes
More stupidity.

You need to think about the meta-action to understand what's actually happening here

:)

>perfection can be found outside of God
Oh, certainly not
Anonymous No.41057929 [Report] >>41057954
>>41057882
I don't, because I understand my faith very well, understand God very well and understand how things are legitimately done when it comes to God. Protip: it isn't as above, so below. And it isn't you doing anything. A miracle is simply an act of God being done through an individual. Jesus made it clear that without Him, nothing can be done. But with Him, one could move mountains and nothing will be impossible for them.

I think the take away so far is that will great power (spirit) comes great responsibility (intention) and the most sensible way to handle great responsibility is to give it to God. That is wisdom. There is an inverse relationship between will and desire making the idea of becoming some kind of demi-god an exercise in futility.

When I see these new words I've never seen before, I wonder if I should pick up my thesaurus or if I should pass.
I decide to pass because, if OP can't even explain himself without the use of those obscure words, what can I hope for the rest?
Keep it simple stupid.
You sound like some fictional character of an RPG that does that to impress the player, to make it seem mysterious and more important than other characters that sound normally.
Perhaps your message is valuable but you need to work on your presentation first.

ok
so you say "consecrate Mind" (which is the framing, binding, lens of consciousness)
while amplifying the Spirit by "silence that gathers breath"
while devoting the effect of both to align with your desire
while enduring the effect of all of the above so as to recursively consecrate, amplify, and align

the recursive feedback loop is what brings the great feeling in one's heart...

elabarate OP, me listening. Interested in the "silence that gathers breath" thing especially

No, for you see my fren. In the pursuit is the value. In this case pursuit of knowledge. In any case here I've prepared a short explanation of each one for you. Take into consideration that the more you delve into texts that explain them, the better you will be able to apply this system:

Logos: A Greek word meaning “Word,” “Reason,” or “Divine Order.” In Christian mysticism, Logos is the principle through which the universe is created (“In the beginning was the Word…”). Here it represents Mind, the ordering intelligence that shapes reality.

Ruach: A Hebrew word meaning “breath,” “wind,” or “Spirit.” It is the animating force of life in the Hebrew Bible. It corresponds here to Spirit, the vital power that moves creation.

Nous: A term from Greek philosophy, especially Plato and Plotinus, meaning “Intellect” or “Divine Mind.” It is the highest aspect of the soul, perceiving truth directly. It is another name for Mind as the principle of knowing.

Pneuma: Greek for “breath” or “Spirit.” Early Christian and Stoic writers used it to mean the life-giving essence pervading all things. It parallels Ruach as the animating breath.

Maya: A Sanskrit word meaning “illusion” or “that which is measured.” In Vedanta, Maya is the cosmic illusion that makes the One appear as many, the spiritual appear as material.

Kavanah: A Hebrew word meaning “intention” or “direction of the heart.” In Jewish mysticism, it refers to the focused mental state that aligns prayer or ritual with divine will. Here it is the disciplined shaping of Mind toward a goal.

Hesychia: A Greek word meaning “stillness” or “silence.” In Eastern Orthodox mysticism, hesychia refers to the inner quiet cultivated through contemplative prayer, allowing the Spirit to gather and focus.

Bhakti: A Sanskrit word meaning “devotion” or “loving participation.” In Hindu traditions, bhakti is the path of surrender to the divine through love, which aligns desire and intention with higher will.

Tapas: A Sanskrit word meaning “heat” or “austerity.” In yoga and Indian philosophy, tapas is the discipline of enduring hardship or engaging in practice that generates inner fire and spiritual power.

We all do the same things over and over, with minor variations. Most unique conversations, interactions, etc.

Changes to the container are the best way to progressively improve the outcome. Meaning self improvement is the best way you have to shape your own reality.

Better fitness, more skilled, more knowledgeable, better conversation, etc.
I would bet genetic modification is the most reliable way to improve your own reality.

"Silence that gathers breath" is certainly one of the most relevant parts, with it I mean the focus of spirit cultivated through meditation or prayer.

me like to surround myself in lush green vegetation to get natural energizing breaths, also sunshine (and moonshine and starshine and darkness shine)

I don't understand how people can live in synthetic polluted environments, it leads to conformity and rigidity of Mind

the energizing breaths breaks apart the shackles of the Mind and keeps it flexible and vital

thanks for making the thread, it all syncs

While I agree that for most people, healthy self-improvement is likely the best way to go, there a certainly pitfalls when it comes to believing completely in the ultimacy of the material world
For example
>I would bet genetic modification is the most reliable way to improve your own reality
No, there are much better ways that don't tend to create horrors
Anonymous No.41061984 [Report] >>41062003
>>41061918
so this "tapas" thing is like recursively feeding back into itself, folding and nourishing and vitalising with honest attention..
thus dissolving all rigidities and conformitive tendencies of the Mind..
creating a simple "lens" which is infinitely usable
ALONG WITH
the simple refined force of spirit which has continually fed back into itself through the refined lens (recursive feedback effect)
Anonymous No.41062003 [Report] >>41062072
>>41061984
You get to an important point here, which is to create a recursive feedback effect. That is true, but keep in mind that this intention also has to be held in Mind. For it is not automatic.
Anonymous No.41062072 [Report] >>41062125
>>41062003
>For it is not automatic.
yes this is what I meant with honest attention
honesty must be related to "loving participation"
because one wouldn't want to force this into happening without being free from mundane attachments and fears. Or, being honest that one does perceive things with attachment or one does perceive things as frightful.
This honest perception does creates the necessary resolution (of fears and distortions) within the Mind as one recursively feeds back into oneself
Anonymous No.41062125 [Report]

Of course, else one risks letting the subconscious mind unchecked, and thus bringing about suffering or temptation for himself and others
