The qrd is basically that Chaos magick sprung up as a critique of ceremonial Golden Dawn-esque magick because it was seen as too complex, cringe and gay. It's basically the postmodern school of magick which postulates that magick is nothing more than a tool that can be used to achieve things through basic magickal operations On of the most central tennants is that you can create your own magickal system, symobolism, what magick means etc. There is no definitive, objective system or operation of magick. Magick is instead what you make it out to be, as long as you believe a certain symbol, ritual or spell is magickal and you put all your energy into it, it becomes effective.
The core of this system is a sort of mind-body dualism, where your deepest sub-conscious is the seat of KIA, a sort of creative energy through which magick is achieved. But since our minds are constatntly bombarded by thoughts, insecurities and sensory overload, KIA becomes burried and inaccessible. So in order to access KIA and its power, you are advised to deprive yourself of sensory input as much as possible trough meditation, asceticism, mental excercises, orgasms etc. A popular method is the latter one, sex magick, where you first create a symbol for your desire, can be a sigil, picture, word whatever. You then try and achieve a temporary state of euphoria throug masturbation, and during this brief state of elation and bliss here youyr thoughts and emotions are forgotten and KIA is the most ecposed, you concentrate on the sigil as much as possible so that it connects with KIA. From that point on you subconsciously start to work towards the goal your glyph represents and magickal results are eventually achieved.
