A Trigger in the Collective
It seems as though this event has triggered something in the collective consciousness. There is a more impactful response to this event than I believe we realize. Put aside any political ideology, but consider the ramifications of this event on society.
Mr. Kirk was an interesting individual to remove from play. He didn't hold any proper authority save for social influence. His background is appealing to most I would say, amplified by the wife and children. While he didn't appeal to everyone, he was closer to a John Everyman or Jane EveryWoman than most talking heads.
The reminder of mortality existing to someone on Charlie Kirk's wavelength seems to have struck a cord with the public at large. And to see that reminder on display over and over again through all forms of media, newspapers, TV, social websites, video platforms, etc. Leads to a certain cerebral massaging as you become so familiar with the death of this man, you can not forget it. Cast aside all other news, death is on the menu and you will look at it.
As this event expands, it will reach out in every direction, being morphed and twisted along the way until it is nigh unrecognizable. How we react, how we respond, how we categorize what happened, will be enlightening. If there was a time for loosh harvesting on a massive scale, this is it. Consider us all individual nodes, and this event stands to define lines more than it seems any other before it, though all have led to it.
I'm sure whoever shot him felt they needed to do it, whether they were following orders from an agency, or from some other higher power. It is sad to see a man dead for voicing his beliefs. Rest well Charlie Kirk. You've done your part, now be at peace.
