It is a bit of a dumb story but basically my friend's dad was a dick to some native american tribe and they cursed her family. Seems like it is a shadow creature not unlike the one I command who they send after her family.

So I figured I could fight fire with fire, and sent my own to fuck it up.

Turns out they were evenly matched,so mine came back and collected its payment in energy plus an extra to recoup from the fight. The other demon apparently vampirized my friend and her family pretty badly.

My own guy denies having done them any wrong, but I figured I would check. Could you confirm if the one doing all the vampire work on my friend and her family was the one sent by native americans?

I hear the sound of children chatting, excitedly, it's break time and they all run towards the playground. Snow time and the classrooms are made of wood only, like winter cabins and the kids got winter clothes too but doesn't feel cold. My vision is locked on a white kid, black hair, some front teeth missing, blue vest on a black long sleeve shirt and jeans. He seems to be one of the most excited kids as he spot something special happening on the other side but he waits for everyone to leave the classroom so she could go. On the other side of the playground there's a teacher, the she resembles young Linda Hamilton on a black hair ribbon. She holds a black cake and all the kids jump around to get a piece, it's really black and taints the kids teeth like coal, the more they eat, the darker they become to the point of only the white of their eyes are visible and now they reach out to the teacher asking for more but since she haven't they attack her.

Well I haven't had a dark scry in a while but that's tame compared to what I used to see in the past. In a twisted way, it will bring attention and some traction to your gain and notoriety goals. Yet I feel that this could be bold move in terms of will you be ready to the attention and "hunger" from your audience? They will definitely want more, but maybe not in the way you expect, perhaps seeking for more freebies than actually consuming more of your works. I don't want to say it'll be disappointing but the audience will expect more, even if you bring a lot. The return will come mostly in the form of attention, curiosity and more so you have to be prepared to offer a cliffhanger, something they need to anticipate on without overwhelming you or making you feel unprepared for what's to come.

In essence, it'll have a good acceptance, they will enjoy it and want more, so you'd better get something more to surprise the audience.

In their own grandiose way, yes, but the primary reason is still rather self serving. They see you as a valuable ally/asset--that isn't to say there's no room for sentimentality, there is, but their mind is pragmatically focused. I get the feeling that it's the nature of how they conduct "business" that blends into their personal relationships, as well.
They're confident and full of themself and they're the type of person who will repel those with an ego half the size of their own, but they're still someone you'd rather have on your team than playing against you.
