Believe God sent his only son to mary and Joseph, was raised but God as flesh as foretold, he died and took upon sin, resurrected after 3 days (harrowing of hell is an interesting concept), and after his resurrection which was witnessed by hundreds, he ascended.
From the beginning of time adam and eve were protected from sin in the garden, the deception which lead us into sin brought us outside the garden, where also 1/3rd of heavens angels fell.
Free will to do as we choose is love given from God to use to explore his creation for us. Nature, spirit, all of it is for us to take in or forsake. It is much deeper than simply going to church and going back to being a sinner. There are many claimed Christians and there are those who take in God.
