have you ever met an occult practitioner that actually had any powers? not someone larping and being edgy/full fo themselves when it was clear they had nothung going on. I mean real practitioners with whom you wouldnt want to fuck arund (like witches voodoo-practitioners, daoist folk magicians or something completelly unknown)

I havent met a single intimidating spiritual being.

After witnessing two worlds die and having to live lifetimes of logistics to rebuild stuff individuals just become noise. Individuals arent scary. Collectives are.

Yeah. The guy ran what should have been a failing occult shop. It’s been in business at least 40 years. The guy looks like he’s 38.
He also absolutely reads minds and kicks people out without warning or reason.
I asked him a question, in my mind, and this guy fucking answered it from across the shop.
I hadn’t told him what I wanted nor what I was looking for and he answered a question that wasn’t easily answered by context cues or a popular item everyone wanted.

My wife is p. OP she fucks people up regularly when they cross her. Did a spell on a stalker and his house burned down, some dude hit her and lost his hand in an accident a few days later, last week some guy beat up her friend so she cursed him to lose his teeth and he got jumped a few days ago and his three front teeth knocked out.

I met a person who could read minds and had sort of an omniscience on what people were doing around him. He didn't even cold read or anything he just knew what people were thinking before they even voiced something.

Theres a pretty significant chaos magic underground in polish b schools and consulting firms, I never saw results that would be unexplainable, but I guess it must work if serious people do it.

In the same vein, I once knew a German chick who worked as an art restoration agent, she claimed to be a witch, the only evidence I saw supporting this claim was that she could point your finger at you and youd get goosebumps on one side of the body. Worked with everyone she tried it on.

About a decade ago, I dated a witch and lived with her for about a year.
She said she only did white magic, but she seemed to know about some ritual curses which were supposed to kill people. She was deathly afraid of them because her mum had used one of these curses to kill someone and the "blowback" effect fucked her up mentally.
I don't think she ever cast any spells while living with me, but there were some odd occurrences around the house:
>Food left out for more than 20 minutes would start rotting like it had been left out for days
>Spots of mold would appear in sealed containers of food
>If she did the dishes, all the metal cutlery would have tiny spots of rust on them, even if I gave her a hand and dried them all
>Clipped flowers put in a vase would die within minutes and start molding immediately
>Close to our breakup, the bedroom became a very dark and scary place. I felt unwelcome there and slept in another room. After we broke up, I had to clean that room and get all her possessions out. Simply cleaning up and vacuuming seemed to expel the darkness
The weirdest one:

>I pack everything, including a hairbrush which was well-used and had her hair wrapped around the base of the bristles
>Later, she sends me a message saying that she found my hair in that brush and she was going to curse me

I have cleaned out that drawer twice since we broke up. It is definitely the same brush, hair and all. It even has a faint stale smell of the expensive shampoo she used about it. How it got there defies all logic.

the worst offenders of occult activity are probably those that rile up the spirit realm with wild emotions and fling cursework and ritual stuff around and then forget about it or that believe it doesnt come at a cost. There's also a lot of other spirits or people in the family line who then have to clean up the messes of others. Astral pingpong is some of the most tiresome shit to deal with. It's even worse when half the ones watching along are just too happy on fanning the flames.

How you connect with people above and below and how well you can navigate between beings to negotiate and manifest subtle but important shifts in attitude is far more important than being able to cause harm. here's a genuinely upsetting, scary thing: the "green snake witches" (think gruntilda or witch hazel from looney tunes) aren't actually real humans, only a physical technicality. anyone with the know-how and inner drive can into magic, but green snek witches are designed from the bottom to the top for black magic specifically, and have no inne rmentality. they're constantly on autopilot and their minds are permanently confined to the perpetual present. they can memorize shit, but their thoughts of the past are strictly limited to holding grudges or "gotcha moments" in verbal combat (pilpul, they won't have a real conversation), they won't learn from mistakes beyond basic pattern recognition, and they have no forward thinkng at all whatsoever.
this enables them to do insanely harmful shit. it does seem they take a big personal hit when they cast a hardcore offensive spell, it seems to sap their own life force. but the sheer lack of forward thinking will make it so they'll do insane crazy stuff without a moment of thought. anyone else would go "hell no i ain't doing that, i'd get hit with consequences". consequences don't exist in the minds of green witches.

I worked on a legal case once that involved a practitioner of Santaria, voodoo, or something like that. The contents of her home were very unsettling. Not just candles and creepy books, but animal and human remains. It was all very disturbing to see.

People who mess with Chi, Prana, Aether etc. Do this, close your eyes and imagine a white ball of light above your head. Imagine that white light flowing down your head, neck, through your arms and out your hands. I think it's some kind Mind MGMT style mind advancement or evolution rather than something "psychic". It may be he was hyper aware of the environment and was extremely well-learned and experienced with people so everything is just incredibly predictable to him. His explanation was just he's "more in tune with things people aren't able to see regularly"
