All demons are ancient, hybrids between humans and angels, and were killed in the flood. Their spirits dwell on Earth, visiting humans in their desire to experience the pleasures of the flesh. And each sin is like a faction in which demons participate. Pornography, pedophilia, adultery, lying, corruption, greed, and pride are factions, and each demon controls individuals prone to habitually practicing these sinful activities. Some factions are pagan religions, but the leaders of these factions are fallen angels. Only fallen angels can receive worship. Demons receive sin offerings, but they are not permitted to be worshipped. Sheol is highly hierarchical and organized, like a kingdom.
If you habitually practice a specific sin, there is a demon accompanying you who not only instigates but also relishes your practice of that sin. He lives the carnality he lost in you, and he does so subtly, inhabiting you whenever he misses the taste of the pleasures and works of the flesh. And when you die, by right, this personal demon will have possession of you. Enslaved souls are usually raped, torn apart, devoured, destroyed, tortured, and used for all manner of vile deeds by these demons, in a place in Sheol where time stands still. Their souls are remade after this violence, to be tortured again. Their only relief will be on Judgment Day, when all evil is uprooted from the Earth and cast into the Lake of Fire.
Every human being has a personal demon assigned to them. Sometimes they are passed from parents to children, where the parents' vices and sinful habits now manifest in the new members. What angers the demons is discovering that some people were chosen by God. When these people hear God's call and accept Christ, they receive the Holy Spirit within them, becoming God's property, whereupon the personal demon loses its now irrevocable right over that person. This is why, upon conversion, angels celebrate, but demons lament the defeat.
