Nta but no, you dont need these two. What you want is impact: not maintaining a status quo but transforming someone. That means being able to uplift someone who is poor from the cycle they are stuck in. The greater work is that which sets people free and gives them new perspective. If you want to make impact, focusing on yourself to grow and then affect 10 fold the people is real impact.
If you have the potential to be more but you take contentness with a local soup kitchen then you might be missing the mark in the same way as someone who might be netflixing their time away. It's not like that volunteering spot isnt gonna be filled by someone else. It depends on the circumstances.
