No. You can do whatever the fuck you want within the limitations of your vibration. Some people reincarnate, some advanced to the next stage, some live as elementals, some take spiritual service gigs like angels, some stay stuck in the lower astral because they think the light is a trap until their spirit guide feels they’re ready to see something new.

It's an automatic process.
Based on your karma you get reborn with a more or less good body at a more or less good place. That happens to 99.9% of the people. Some few are not reborn, their souls go to hell or to heaven.
People can not choose that. All we can decide is what we do in life and what karma we create.

There are so many different kinds of incorrect on /x/ I don't think it would fit in a post. People who think everything they can imagine is real, people who think sharing their fantasy fiction as fact is benevolent (Providing solace or whatever), larping trolls, and shill spammers who just want to dilute anything real.

I happen to be the real deal, and the number one way to tell someone doesn't know what they're talking about is "reincarnation".

The parts and energies that constitute "you" slowly begin to dissipate until only a vague fragment of your original personality is left. That remaining fragment gets reincarnated, while the other parts are subsumed by the universe in various forms and means. If you don't want this to happen you need to "crystalize your soul" for lack of a better term, which is done through various practices.
