>finish afternoon water survival class (nicknamed "water haze")
>get back to room, shower, change, and collapse in bed
>drift off instantly
>wake up a bit later to footsteps
>assume it is roommate
>out of corner of eye see him get into his bed
>something feels off
>actually glance over to see nobody is in the room
>suddenly realize I can't move
>hear footsteps approaching the bed
>as soon as they reach the side, feel weight on top of me
>feel a wind on back of neck (I sleep sort of sideways/on my front)
>see curtains flapping so tell myself it's breeze from open window
>copium.json
>fight the paralysis for what feels like an eternity
>keep slipping into a dream where I think I've won only to "wake up" still paralyzed with it on top of me
>finally break free for real
>room is still empty
>look at window and see that it's closed
>"oh that was a ghost breathing on me"

It was room 6E16 in Vandy Hall, squadron 17 in case any fellow graduates/current cadorks are reading this. My roommate also had frequent sleep paralysis in that room even though we never talked to each other about it until after we moved out. The girl who moved in after us mentioned she kept seeing a figure in front of the wardrobe. I never had sleep paralysis again until I moved into a room right by that room, where it would occasionally "visit" me again, although I was able to fight it off every time. That entire school/base is brimming with ghost and demon stories. I hate that place.

>They run out, I shuffle back, and run into Cat 2, Female
>Grumble, crack the door just enough for her to slip out and immediately close it.
>Turn and see Cat 1.
>Let them out without thinking.
>Realize I let three cats out of my room, when I only have two.
>And there was no way for the first to get back in, the door was the only way out and i watched them slip out of it.

Either the boy learned to teleport, lagged back inside the room, or I'd mistaken a ghost cat for them. Wouldn't be the first time it happened, actually, since he's grey and looks awfully similar to the ghost cats in my house, who appear as dark, cat shaped shadows when its dim/ dark in a room.

In 2016, the name of Gustavo Porta-Cuesta Fuentes echoed throughout Guatemala's influent ears. A 31-year-old man, a civilian and high-ranking public official, was accused of serial murder. The brutality of his actions shocked his peers, with more than a dozen bodies found buried in the vast backyard of his home on the Guatemalan coast. The victims? Young women, whose tragic fates would remain hushed up by the political power and corruption that covered up the case.
His actions, however, could not be kept secret for long, and he was finally arrested, sentenced to death and awaiting execution by hanging, which was scheduled for 2022. As Porta-Cuesta held a high position in the government, the case was hushed up and all records disappeared, with nothing leaking to the media. Even his name was erased. Therefore, there is no information left on the web about this case.
But, in the middle of 2024, I received a folder containing several sound recordings, whose origins went back to Porta-Cuesta. The strangest thing: these recordings had nothing or little to do with the crimes itself, but rather with his other identity – that of an experimental musician. Under the pseudonym "LFC", Porta-Cuesta recorded albums of experimental music that, until then, were unknown to the public.
These recordings are disturbing, defying the conventions of traditional music and delving into unsettling territories that echo the chaos and darkness of his own life.
Although details about the original case have been erased, and even Porta-Cuesta's name has disappeared from official records, these recordings offer a window into the troubled mind of a serial killer who, it seems, was also trying to express his anguish in a completely different way.
I am making the file available on the internet.

>2005
>I was part of MINUSTAH in Haiti
>one day we were informed that criminals were in CitΓ© Soleil, so we arrived by the dawn and rapidly started searching for them
> people we’re very terrified, but my french isn't that good so I almost can't understand anything they’re saying
>sergeant is visibly nervous and approaches some grouped civilians and says something that from the few words I understand he seems to be asking if they saw any strange movements in that area
>an old man can barely say anything and there’s a pregnant woman who keeps screaming. Sergeant is increasingly nervous and irritated now
>I believe in my guts that something very bad is going to happen
> but apart from people's screams, everything is calm in the background β€” there are not even bird sounds.
>
Some guys next to me also get nervous as they see that man shouting at the people. In my mind, there’s just a hammering thought that doesn't let me be quiet
>ust thought all the time that this was a perfect environment for an ambush and the sergeant is an idiot for putting us in this situation
>But all he does is shout at them
>So when a time has passed and he is still without answers, the mf just gets closer to the woman and punches her in the face
>I ask if this was necessary but he just tells me to shut up and says "go complain to the commander
>Then I just tell him to fuck off and he doesn't believe on what are hearing, other guys don't either, but I feel like many wanted to say the same thing
>The woman is on the floor with a bleeding nose and crying
>I think "fuck all this" and go to her, if it was an ambush we would already be fucked while that idiot has shouting to them
>Try to get her up, but the sergeant just kicks me when my back is turned
>I could have fallen on the woman's belly but luckily that didn't happen.

β€œThis guy is totally deranged. We'll die if we follow him.” I think.

>Corporal guy is uncomfortable 'cus of our behavior and says that we are disrupting the operation, and he's right
>Sergeant turns to him and tells him to shut up
>I get up and punch him in the face
>Other guys quickly separated us, they could have done it when I saw me get up but they still let me hit this bastard
>Sergeant get batshit crazy and are swearing without mincing his words β€” seems like one of those drill sergeants from 'nam movies
>It's so ridiculous I can hardly believe it. I mean, it’s well known that our armed forces were inexperienced, but didn't imagine it would be this much
>I was just a temporary soldiers and get surprised to see a career sergeant act like that
>Corporal took a firm stance and continued to argue that we should focus on the operation
Old man from before is now even quieter, the women get up and some other women with her are trembling
They didn't know what we were saying to each other in our language and that just made things worse
>Suddenly, a shot hits a tree near where I was
>β€œCover!” I shout to my companions
>I just hide behind a wall and get my FAL ready
>Admit that was my first time in a confrontation, so I was very inexperienced
>You always do training in the military, but being in the crossfire is a whole other thing
>Yell in french at the civilians to get down or go behind something
>Can only imagine it made sense because they obeyed me

The shots were coming from a building in the north, so I took my FN FAL out of the sling and shot where the bullets were coming from. In a few seconds, it turned into a general shootout. We were all nervous and then when we realized it they stopped shooting. Corporal thought they had run out of magazines and then told us to move to better positions. Honestly, I kept thinking that this was what they wanted us to think and almost refused to follow that order, but in the pressure of the moment I did it too.

He just guided us to a concrete building
Guess we were about 400 meters away from them but nothing happens, not even a single shot
>A guy takes a rosary and starts praying >Another guy is looking with binoculars but can't see anything in the previous building
>We remained in this torturous position for twenty minutes until the shooting started again, but now it was coming from behind and seems to have do many of them
>Changed our position and started shooting for a long time and just like the other time the enemy shots ceased out of nowhere
>Corporal looks a bit strange and about to break, so he just walks out the door
>Sergeant shout at him β€œCome back!”
>But he just doesn't care and is shot in the head
>It was the first time I saw someone die in front of me, without further ado, his head after the shot was one of the most horrible thing I had ever seen
>Feel like I'm going to break down, and that it awaits all of us
>Rosary's guy is now about to break down too, all he does is pray out loud and ask God to protect us
>Don't understand what happened to the corporal, but feel a strange urge to leave the building
>When that passed, I got nervous again and went back to my ways
>Others are equally nervous but they try to maintain their composure, as for me, I was nervous with a bit of hatred and great desire to put a bullet in the sergeant's head
>This guy didn't let anyone take a radio, put us in a disadvantageous position and was a complete jerk at all
>We started shooting again, but for a long time no one fired back, I could only assume they were moving somewhere else
>After an hour of hiding and nothing more happening, the idiot gave us the order to form groups of two and search the area.
>At that point I was certain that my mother wouldn't even receive my body back in a coffin and it would just be another corpse left in CitΓ© Soleil
>I stayed with the guy who had the rosary. I'll call him Daniel. He was a calm and attentive dude
Anonymous No.41248476 >>41248537 >>41248537
>>41248388

>We searched the area for hours and after a while we found a guy with an AK, but he didn't look well
>There’s a strange stare on the man's face, he looks worse than any addict I’ve seen in all my life, there’s fear, anger and a third thing on his expressions – a third thing I cannot explain even now
>He has a AK without a magazine and just stares at us while repeatedly pulling the trigger
>I shouted at him β€œDrop the rifle and lay on the floor!.”
>But he doesn’t give a fuck and just keep pulling the trigger
>We just immobilized him and he didn't even react, so it was easy to tie his hands with a nylon clamp
>As I looked at the man's face, I began to seriously think that he was a zombie. Haiti has its own stories about zombies, and in most cases they are used for slave labor, quite unlike the flesh-eaters in books and movies
>I also started thinking about the possibility of someone using them as mercenaries. Would that be possible? They don't care about pain, they obey orders without question, and they seem more immune to fatigue than we do

What happened after that was disgraceful. We went back to the sergeant and showed him the guy. He then became convinced that the civilians in that area were helping the criminals and gave the order to clean up the area. When we questioned him, he replied that was what the commander had instructed him to do so if we found any criminals there, well before we arrived. Daniel and I refused to participate in the massacre, so we ran away, were arrested, and then returned home home as dishonored outcasts.

This was covered up and the commander managed to censor local radio stations, but the following year there was a much worse massacre committed by MINUSTAH, and this time they had to admit it after much pressure. It was in that same year that I learned of Daniel's death; he committed suicide by hanging himself with a tie, hours before his sister's wedding.

In the crumbling town of Grinwell, three amateur Satanistsβ€”Mara, Leon, and Judeβ€”found a thread on a hidden dark web forum titled:

Three albums were listed.

Each file came with the warning:
β€œPer auditum, transibit. Quod auditur, evocabitur.”
(Through hearing, it shall pass. What is heard, shall be summoned.)

Curious and reckless, they gathered in an abandoned church basement, candles lit, sigils drawn. They hit play.

As the music played, the air grew hotter. Mara’s nose bled. Shadows seemed to crawl. The walls sweated. Leon threw up black bile. A voice spoke his childhood sins aloud.Thoughts echoed. Regrets screamed. A voice said each of their names, slowly… knowingly.

The room darkened.
And He arrived.

Not a monsterβ€”just a man in a flawless black suit. Eyes like dying stars.

β€œYou listened,” he said. β€œThat makes you mine.”

The candles blew out. The screams didn’t.

The next day, the church was empty. Only a charred laptop remained, its screen frozen on the message:

β€œHe listens. Do you?”
With a link. Still active.
The albums are still free.
