it's probably less physically harmful than alcohol abuse, but the mental effects are worse with weed. I had a Marxist-Leninist friend who said weed was counterrevolutionary because it made people lay, but alcohol is fine because it makes people angry.

I don't know if it counts, but I saw a giant when I was between 10-12. I was with my friends on the street, late at night. Our street was very, very long, like, half a mile, and it has a slope quite considerable. Well, when the oldest one went to his house to piss or something, I saw with my other friends a guy at the end of the road who was, at least, 10 feet tall. We only saw his silhouette, but I think he had a trench coat and a hat (like the hispanic youtuber DrossRotzank). We all freaked out, and went to the house of the oldest one. When he went out, the giant was gone. He never believed us.

Yes I said it several times asking for help but no body could. I have an entity attached to me, a jester thing. It clicks and knocks and bangs.it even talked to me once.

It went full swing after doing the gateway tapes and the affirmations "I deeply desire the help of those individuals...".

This thing tries to scare me. It wants to communicate with me, but if I acknowledge it in any way it escalates, the banging increases, the knocks etc.

yeah. I have mild clairvoyance, but only for inconsequential things. Example: when leaving for work the other morning I had the overwhelming urge to throw a bottle opener in my purse, so I did, although I felt silly. When I got to work, the GM was scrambling around panicking because important clients would be there soon and he had planned to pile them into our nice van and smooth them over with booze on their way to wherever they were going, but he couldn't find a bottle opener. Guess who saved the day.

I can also manifest snacks. If I'm ever extremely hungry or thirsty and think to myself "I really wish I had a salad/ginger ale/literally any food," a coworker or friend will instantly drop the specific snack off unprompted. It used to freak me out but has happened so many times now that I just expect it. It's nice.

I think if you actually think you'll be satisfied being a "lazy unmotivated failure" you're deluding yourself. Most people want at least something. A family, a marriage, a good career, whatever it is. Weed usually makes it harder to get any of those things. And life is a one-shot type deal. You can waste a lot of time and opportunity just letting time slide by and getting high.

Even if you're a hedonist I don't think smoking weed all the time maximizes pleasure.

All I'm trying to say is there's more to the story. I've seen plenty of people with family, marriage, career who are miserable. also life is NOT a one shot deal by any means and circumstances are in constant flux. Like i said before, i get where you are coming from and overall i would say its generally stupid to consume weed. and especially to do it all the time. but to say that motivation is impossible while consuming weed, that it will always cause mental issues, that its wrong to do, is incorrect.

Give it a break and see how you feel. You will feel better, there is just no other way around it. Every dope smoker on the planet will feel better if they give it up. I can never take a stoner seriously when they say it helps them, it simply does not do any one any good. In fact I took a 10 month break last year, after 6 years of weekly/daily use; primarily to prove to myself that I could, secondarily to see the effects. I did feel better in some ways, and not better in others, and by the end i could think of nothing but consuming some weed, so i did and now i still do weekly or so. That break has allowed me the mental barrier to see a world where i can give it up permanently. And to see clearly what space it fills in my life, and as you point out, it does not do any one any good, the only good is serves is preventing a worse bad. for me that worse bad was harder drugs like opiates and benzos and various dangerous research chemicals, for many years i was addicted.

Honestly been a while since i really thought about how much i was addicted and to only do weed today is something of a big step for me.

Communication with my folks in the higher planes. Just very tranquil and nice experiences. It felt like how life should be. I could sit in a park a being might pop up. I see nothing visually with my brain but my awareness still registers something as if it is there and I can see it mindly. I remember that one asking me how I was doing and if stuff was going okay.

It wasnt complicated, occult shit or otherwise super special. Just meeting an old acquaintance from another time and space. A similar thing happened when I met Freyja in her halls. That was about the "highest" I felt I got. It was almost like a fully immersed dive while awake and the environment felt wet and elevated, not dense and droopy. Another moment that stayed with me was having a hunch and directing a thought to a person I had a bad feeling about. Turned out they were about to off themselves out of misery and my mental voice reached them somehow.

As a child I always felt like communication and simple moments where a noble goal to achieve through spiritual growth and lo ans behold I achieved it somehow. It's not a spiritual skype yet but maybe it can be someday. But without further studies and tests we wont gain a grip on these events. It might also be that the spiritual channels are a controlled medium which introduces enough randomness and inability to make any form of research troubling. It's also food for thought: if I can experience these things and even shape events with it why is it so rare? Would the world be better or worse if it was way more common?

In the army we met this man who was dead yet stood before us.
The weather was atrocious. 0 degree weather and wet, we were in difficult terrain, it was hard to get to the spot where this happened and it was the middle of the night. We had casualties just getting to this location.
We stopped in a depression and suddenly noticed this man standing maybe 20 feet from us, facing us. He is dressed inappropriately for the weather. I mean he was dressed as you might on a typical autumn day. No equipment, no weapons, no light, he just was somehow out here, despite being wholely unequipped to reach this spot or survive in it.
We see nothing in the naked eye, too dark. We see him on night vision. I have thermals - he never appears in thermals. My whole team does appearl the equipment works.
When I saw him the first thing I did was switch to thermal and scan for the rest of them. But there was no one else, and to my shock, he has no thermal signature. He was as cold as everything around him.
We all saw it.
I can't remember him having a discernable face.
We reported this encounter up and got an answer that there was no one reported to be in the area besides us. Command was puzzled as to what we were even talking about.
We moved on and left it be. We saw him again later, this time much farther away, watching us. I guess we were probably a mile or two from the original spot. Now, you could definitely cover that ground faster than us if you went directly there and didn't stop. But it was weird.
It freaked out my leadership so much we literally diverted our planned route to avoid him.
The second encounter again there was no thermal signature and no one else around him.
Guys chalked it up to a SW but I don't really know what I saw, maybe he was a ghost, or something. But he was ice cold yet stood before us as if living. That's what I can't reconcile.

I've seen the night sky burn into daylight.

No drugs, completely sober that whole day.

I was driving a couple blocks away to get food at Subway @ 9pm at night when a small pin prick of light (like a cigarette being burnt into film) appeared into the sky, and if you've seen what film looks like when it burns, that's what happened to the night sky. It all burned away into pure daylight, but without a source of light in the sky. It was just... blue daytime with the clouds and moon hanging in the sky but no sun or flare or any other obvious "source."

It lasted long enough I sat in my car and looked between the clock on the dashboard, to the sky, and around at the neighborhood. It lasted so long, I was able to get out of my car and look around the neighborhood (it happened when I stopped at a 4-way intersection) and was slowly getting more and more freaked out. Besides the unnatural darkness of night turning into day, I also realized that nothing had a shadow. It was an omnipresent light that caused everything to have a weird backwards eclipse effects where there was no depth or shading to anything. Once I realized it, I got down on the ground and saw there wasn't even a shadow underneath my car - it was just... bright, everywhere.

When crazy shit happens, I believe most people look for other people around them to turn to them, as if to ask, "are you seeing this shit too," and that's exactly what I did: I started looking from house to house to see which ones had cars in their driveway, or had lights on inside, but with the daytime light, I couldn't see any of the inside lights shining out against the darkness. On top of that, there were no cars parked in the street or the driveway. So, I left my car running in the middle of the intersection as I ran from house to house, pounding on the doors and furiously ringing the doorbells hoping someone, anyone, would answer to see what I was seeing - to confirm I wasn't just hallucinating this to myself...

This whole even lasted long enough for me to sit in my car, think about what was happening, get out of my car, look around, notice the lack of shadows, get down on my hands/knees, see more no shadows, stand up, get freaked out, look around for cars or indoor lights, see none, and run to 3 separate houses with knocking/ringing the door bell for about 10-15 seconds each before running to the next house and trying again.

I was on my way to the 4th house when it just... stopped. Like a light-switch being flipped to the "off" position, the daylight instantly switched back to nighttime, and the stars returned to the sky. I was standing, dumbfounded in the street, when a car began driving up from the tree covered side of the intersection up the the 4-way stop where my car was still parked in the middle.

I ran up to the front of the car, hoping they had seen something driving towards my location from where they were, and once they stopped I began spastically knocking on their window. They barely cracked the window, and I could see it was an elderly couple inside the car looking extremely confused/concerned that this random teenager blocked their car and was pounding on their window. I started asking them if they had seen anything from the direction they came, if that had seen any light or anything in the sky coming up to the intersection.

"No, we didn't see anything... are you alright?"
So I told them about what happened, and questioned them again if they had seen something - ANYTHING - that would make me feel less insane for having the experience I did, and that's when the old lady hit me with, "I think you've had too much to drink," and it instantly deflated me. I knew they thought I was some crazy mfer, or some kid on drugs, and all I'd get from them was a call to the cops and trouble. So, I got in my car, forgot about Subway, and went back home.

I remember when I got home, my mom asked me why I was back so soon and when she saw me she asked what had happened. I told her everything that happened, and ended it with, "you believe me, right?" And her answer was... way too practical.

She said he believed I experienced something because I was pale when I walked in and had a thousand yard stare before looking at her, but followed it up with, "but what are you going to do about it? You experienced something unique, but what does it matter beyond what you're going to do about it?" And it's true: what is anyone to do about experiencing something like that?

From time to time I'll look up different things that caused localized light, but all my searches keep coming back to the same things of satellites or flares or other things that create very clear, very noticeable sources of light in the sky that makes it very obvious where the light is coming from, but nothing that reaches the pure, absolute, daytime totality of light saturation I saw that night.

And so I tell this story from time to time, hoping maybe someone else has experienced something like it. This all occurred in a town that borders the Redstone Arsenal, and when I mention that, people like to go on about possible missles or other dumb shit that couldn't possibly create the phenomena I saw. Even now, I can link the exact spot and cardinal bearing where it occurred and where I was looking when the event happened.

It's not spooky ghosts.
It's not seeing the future.
It's not magic boogins or any of that stuff.
But it's the only truly paranormal thing I've ever encountered that was so unambiguously paranormal that I couldn't chalk it up to a random noise or paranoia. Shit sucks because I'll probably die without ever getting an answer.

If I am walking a path of self destruction I will usually have a dream/vision of the climax event that I can not return from 6-18 months before it occurs. Has happened 3 times now. The last time I let it get too close and was exposed to the most potent undiluted fear imaginable, it came out of left field and broke me down completely, it is my personal proof of God and a sign that, that was my last chance/warning.

I'm homeless, I live in the woods in a tent. I was laying on my back watching something on my phone, probably something having to do with the universe or something philosophical as per usual. I had a few powerful moments of 'deja vu' this night. At some point I put the phone down and lay there for a moment, then like something was placed in my mind, an image of me standing on what I remember as an earth like ball with a colorful static background like you see in older tvs completely blinded me though my eyes were wide open. Then my eyes in this image became like the colorful background static. I felt like I was being sucked into the image and it scared me, so I did what I could to remove the image from my mind. I ran from it. First time a thought felt like it had been placed in my mind like that, first time I've been scared by a thought, my heart was pounding, first time I've desperately ran from a thought. I had an intuitive understanding that this image was me, a mind, receiving consciousness represented by my eyes matching the colorful background static, the background static being the field of consciousness. There was something deeper though, something esoteric and something I still can't give words to. Simply, because simple is all I can do here, I understood this; my mind is an anchor for consciousness like earth is an anchor for gravity. Gravity isn't observable without matter (like planet earth or stars)and consciousness is not observable without a receiver, a mind that can subjectively experience. There's an infinite field of something, call it God or consciousness, maybe they're different forces maybe they're the same, but there's a field that encompasses all of existence. We are a product of this field, this fundamental force somehow, yet only aware of it because our minds can receive it. This raw force somehow by it's own nature lead to what we call material reality and eventually intelligent life. The dream created the dreamer. Yin and yang.

I'm an atheist turned devout Christian.

I became an atheist but I was raised Catholic. I turned away from Christianity altogether and became very depressed (this is over the course of years). One day I decided to get some sunshine since Vitamin D is good for depression.

I went outside and took my dog for a walk but with every step I remembered a sin. I remembered mistreating people for no reason and just being an absolute ass. Each time I remembered something it was as if a weight was placed on my spirit. It came to the point that I could no longer move. It felt like I had a backpack full of boulders on my back. I felt intense emotional pain. I was disappointed in myself and all the crappy things that I had done. I repented of those things and I cried out to God and to the Lord Jesus Christ. I prayed for the first time in years and I simply asked God for help, apologized for the things that I had done, and promised to commit my life to Him.

As soon as I finished that prayer I felt the weight lift off of my spirit. My being felt enveloped by a feeling of peace and love that is completely beyond human understanding. This was beyond meditation, drugs, or any human experience.

God spoke to me and said, "I loved you even when you turned your back on me and I still love you. I don't condemn you."
Then I felt the feeling of supreme peace slowly leave me and I begged God to stay. He replied, "I am with you always".

My message to humanity is that God is real and that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. His word has been preserved in the King James Version of the bible.

My testimony is the honest truth. The way to God is through faith and repentance. He is not a God that requires you to do esoteric rituals like the religions of this world. All that God requires is faith. I am not a perfect person. The only thing that saves me is God's love and mercy. Its all about what His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, did on the cross.

So i did have something happen i was around 14 and i was a real degenerate into incest and was overall really horny etc anyway my grandma had just died and i was off in a room in the house jerking off thinking about a family member i wanted to bang and i swear i just seen her there like clear as day shaking her head looking disgusted and i felt allot of shame and ended up rethinking my choices at that point...i mean i'm still a degenerate and everything but i did calm it down some.
