I have an irrational fear that I am in a coma/severe brain damage and people from the real world are trying to communicate with me to tell me to wake up.

I kinda get you. I've had a few close calls in life and sometimes I wonder if I've died and this life I'm living out is that "life flashing before my eyes" thing. The brain stretching out your last moments into an entire life as a mercy. Then I learned a bit about quantum entanglement and got over it.

I don't know if you have ever used FJ but the admin of that website put in a feature where it would randomly flash the "youre in a coma wake up' type messages for a few milliseconds earlier this year. Tweaked a lot of users out.

one time i pulled this trick on my buddy who took 6g of shrooms. I was yelling at him he needs to wake up this is all a dream soon to turn nightmare he ran into traffic and a car hit him lol
