>be me
>8-9 years old at summer camp
>playing dodgeball in the gym, get into it with a kid on the other team, get each other out a couple times
>next round someone else gets me out and I start walking to the sideline
>get a gut feeling, this dickheads about to try and beam me in the back of the head
>duck, sure enough a dodgeball goes sailing over my head
>look back, dickheads slackjawed looking at me

What was that? Precognition? Sixth sense? Coincidence?
Anyone else have similar things happen?
I feel like stuff like that happened a few times as a kid (that I can remember) but haven't really happened as much as i've gotten older.

Walked into a hornets nest at 5.5 years old, threw myself directly off a rocky out crop into the lake, washed up on the shore 5.5 minutes later.

The type of hornet can kill small animals/children too...

Japanese call it hara-gai/ hara-gei, in some martial arts circles it's called sakki jutsu.
In practice, if you quiet your mind, and have learned the difference between true intuition and your imagination- you are able to perceive the intentions/ thoughts/ feelings of other beings.
From a martial-arts aspect you can sense imminent danger or predict the movements of the enemy. In the same vein, you can learn to conceal your own intentions from being "read".
It's a skill that you can learn- once you know that it exists.
There's a lot of modern mma douchebags calling it bullshido, or a parlor trick, but they can all go die in a fire.

Look into Rupert Sheldrake, esp his book Sense of Being Stared At.
