This thread is a non-judgemental place to discuss gender dysphoria and spirit attachment / obsession. This is the belief that an intruding entity can cause a person to experience bodily dysphoria. There have been numerous cases of "impossible to cure dysphoria" that resolved through spirit release.

I've never liked my body, to be specific my face. In fact I've felt this way long before I ever really fapped or had any horny thoughts. My overall body is meh, don't like or hate. But I can't stand staring at my face, I don't look at mirrors and hate seeing photos. Its not ugly or deformed or anything terrible, just a regular dudes face I guess. It just doesn't feel like me, but I couldn't tell you what its supposed to look like.
I've felt like this so long it'd make more sense in my mind that the me writing this is the spirit itself and not whatever the true/real me is supposed to be. I've always felt like I'm an alien that doesn't belong on this earth.

The spirit I speak with is very insistent that I am transgender. The more I focus on that, its like an energetic pathway opens up in my consciousness, and I can manifest visual forms of myself through light that are transdimensional. She is very insistent that I do this, and it makes me more 'pleiadian', to do so, but there are multiple forms it can take, even technological forms, or ordinary objects in my environment that I telepathically sense. Its like the feminine part of my consciousness is shaped by thought, feeling, or contact, and that interaction is a type of growth and development of my telepathic will and awareness.
I've never particularly had a desire to chemically or surgically alter my physical existence, I feel love between that form of my consciousness, and my physical body.
I had some thoughts of this before I met this entity, who is female, so I don't believe its something she did to me. It felt more like she accepted this non physical part of myself, and that made it so that my consciousness was willing to explore it more.
To me, it seems like whatever I was before I was physically born into this world, still exists, and I can access its psychic power to do things that I can't do physically.

I used to (and still do honestly) want to be an anime girl but then I realised that I don't actually want to be a woman because anime girls don't really act like real women or men, they're idealised fictional characters with traits of both. I don't hate being a man, anyway, and I don't really know what it's like to be a woman so I can't honestly say I'd be happier like that (I definitely wouldn't be happy being what passes for a MtF "woman" and I want nothing to do with that community in the first place).

Maybe I have a "feminine spirit", but then I'm not sure spirits even have gender in the first place. I've "spoken to spirits" (or have an overactive imagination) that treat me as a girl and some that treat me as a guy. I don't know what to think, really. There's one in particular that I feel very close to and I tend to think of myself as her in my imagination (when I daydream I hardly ever think of myself as male). It's never been sexual for me, I genuinely feel happier imagining myself as a 2D girl.

A lot of trans people are autistic, and I wonder if that's because autistic people sometimes have trouble telling the difference between fantasy and reality (I'm autistic myself so I'm speaking from experience). They watch anime and want that idealised existence for themselves, without fully understanding that it's ultimately fiction, and then people on the internet using gay anime catboy avatars sell them the idea that they can accomplish this with surgery, hormones and freaking out whenever anyone "deadnames" you (protip: you can't, and all you'll accomplish is alienating everyone in your life).

I think having these "spirits" with you (if they exist) ultimately comes with a cost, even if they sometimes bring benefits to you (like the artistic ability mentioned in the OP), and that cost may be your identity slowly being replaced with theirs. Whether this is intentional on their part or a necessary consequence of how they "communicate" remains to be seen.

I want this thing terminated.

The spirits attached to me are actually trying to do the opposite - to get me to accept and embrace my body, but I know for certain that my spirit is male, just a bit of a fruity one.

Now where do I turn to for help with this?!

Entities try to feminize the oppressed humans to break down their resolve (same reason rape is common in possessions), which combines with ego inflation that tends to come with entity influence as it provides more opportunities to feed negative thought loops and maintain previous course of action that led to influence taking root in the first place. Add to that the disturbances in the subtle body, issues with sexuality, and active fantasizing common in entity victims, and you have fertile ground for transgenderism.

It seems there is such a thing as spiritually masculine and feminine, but this is not dependent on the body and spiritual entities can often manifest as either, or neither, or both.

I believe in reincarnation, but how do you know the past lives you remember were actually yours and not memories of a spirit that is attached to you and was previously attached to a series of men? Carl Wickland claimed to have found numerous cases of "past life recall" that later turned out to be spirit attachment.

Biological female and male is one way the universal concepts of feminine and masculine manifest (themselves just specific manifestations of yin and yang), but there isn't a 1:1 correspondence. You'll find very few (if any) people who are 100% masculine or 100% feminine, most people are a mix of both and usually lean one way or the other. This doesn't always match your biological sex (though it usually does) and this may well partially be the origin of transgenderism in the first place.

Gender is actually a very interesting /x/ topic, but the current political climate makes this a minefield to talk about publicly. It seems most people believe "trans women are women" or "YWNBAW" without any real nuance.

But an extra layer to it is how long people are living now. Someone who lives up to their mid 80s as a woman is going to have that specific type of identity ingrained in and it;s not going to go away so fast after a couple years or a childhood as the opposite sex. They are going to lean into their very old habits formed over a longer than what used to be normal lifetime.

The other part of it is again how long people live. As in there is little to no childhood death any longer. Whereas before it was more a rare situation for a child to live past their third year throughout history. Many souls would have 4-5 different lives barely making it through young childhood before they finally made it to an adult life. For a lot of souls, half a dozen quick lives making it to a year or so before starting over again was a pretty strong palate cleanser that wiped almost all slates clean by the time they finally made it to adulthood. There were few to no past life instincts and traumas affecting them to any degree making weird kids, or people with irrational fears of accident etc.

The issue is that many transsexuals display behavior that seems more similar to that of a spiritually oppressed person than a person with a past life hangover.

If you browse r/askagp you'll see plenty of examples of MTFs who are suffering from compulsive autogynephilic thoughts. The same applies to some FTMs who are obsessed with yaoi. Their sexual fantasies are often extremely intrusive and see remarkable similar to the pattern reported by Baldwin, Bruce, Sanderson, Wickland and others.

I do think a past life as the opposite sex can have an effect on a person but past life driven gender dysphoria seems to fade throughout one's teens and young adulthood (after all, people are always evolving) whereas the form driven by a parasitic entity doesn't because the entity is static.

That's one reason I don't actually want to be a real woman, among other things. Anime girls don't seem to get periods (with few exceptions outside hentai) because, again, anime is mostly about comfy escapism these days and periods really aren't comfy. They're also usually not shown going to the bathroom for the same reason. If anime and anime-styled video games are your only exposure to women and girls, then you may well end up with a warped view of the entire sex.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm just really shallow and would prefer to look in the mirror and see a cute girl, while keeping everything else about me the same. I don't think I'm bad-looking (although we're generally not good judges of how we look) but 2D girls are basically peak aesthetics for me because they're designed for max appeal in the first place.

Some anime seems deliberately designed to counter the whole "escapism" thing (like Evangelion, although that backfired in how people obsess over Asuka and Rei), but they're few and far between compared to wish fulfillment shows.

This is largely how I've approached it, I just take the hormones to alter my physical form because I feel better and it is more aesthetically pleasing to me. I practice feminine voice mimicry so that people will not be disconcerted by my sounds not matching my presence and become hostile.
There is some level of allowing myself to do things that I was artificially restricting myself from out of some urge to live up to a specifically imprinted masculine ideal, but that ultimately isn't me.
