I’m sorry I can’t pull for you now because I’m not with my cards but I got an attorney with my own situation (not the one I asked about). A consultation should ALWAYS be free, so it might not hold if whoever threatened you is a country away, but an attorney will tell you whether or not they’ll be able to do something for your case and it’ll look bad on their record whenever they lose, so trust they’ll only take you on if they see it working out for them. My attorney was the best I could find so she was expensive, 5k over the full payment, but the consultation was free and she got me a settlement that would have been better than anything the state would have had I gone through by myself

Not her but this is terrible advice. I was stalked relentlessly for years, no matter how many times I blocked or set boundaries, even when police got involved he continued. This person was violent and dangerous, it's clear anonnette is also dealing with a violent and dangerous man. Half your reads are inaccurate too so I don't know if you're also a man and don't know how dangerous men can be or know how often they kill queers and women, but maybe don't give legal advise to traumatised people.

Clearly you do feel conflicted but it is an overly positive read for you to take legal action. Again, as previously I stated, you do feel scared and trapped, and legal stuff is stressful and takes a long time but I have never had a false read on the future before, and I swear by that. That person was psychologically unstable and thought I wanted to kill them despite me never even threatening it, and several of our friends took her side immediately before even talking to me about it, despite them all knowing of her history of being not mentally well.

I don't know your situation so I won't say anything about it, but neurosis is a very real concern for people, and many traumas are self caused.

Did you get sexually assaulted recently or in your youth/childhood?
