hey /x/ this is my cat rupert, hes very cute and he seems to protect me.

I was on holiday away from him and i felt some really spooky vibes and bad feelings, but i never felt them when i have my kitty sleeping on me

Another thing is cats seem to be able see things from another realm, my other cat tux focuses on things that i cant see

does anyone have any other stories about the paranormal and cats?

Rarely (~once every few years) one of my cats will manage to get itself into some room or place where it's not possible for them to get into.
Not some bullshit like "Oh I musta left the door/window/whatever open" but fully enclosed spaces that have one/two entrances and which I myself rarely go into.
It's the oddest fucking thing ever.

My doors don't have enough space underneath them for so much as a mouse to squeeze through like in the video.
In some rooms they'd have to find some invisible mouse holes for it to make sense, like I've legitimately emptied and scoured those rooms at least four times over for any possible hidden entrance but there was just nothing.

Been a "dog person" my whole life, mostly because raised in family with dogs. Never hated cats but just never had one until recently. Dogs are very kind and comforting in the material but I can probably count on one hand the number of /x/ related experiences I've had with them over the years. This cat is something totally different and it's super fucking cool. She makes lots of cute little bbbbbbbthththppp noises at me and sleeps either on me or on some furniture piece above my head pretty much all the time. She's got a totally different vibe than the dogs but still that mammalian familiarity. I don't exactly know how to explain it, because I have no idea what she would actually fucking do, but I feel like she's got the house covered spiritually the same way the dogs have it covered materially.

I used to live in an apartment in a rough place. Lot of crime like murder. One night my dog and cat behaved weird. They growled at the front door and stayed up all night watching it. In the morning when I tried leaving for work they wouldn't let me. Took a lot of coaxing and I made it to work just under the clock. Turns out my neighbor across the hall did a little murder suicide the previous night. When I was moving to a better place a year later, one of my other neighbor's shared with me that the murder-suicide apartment had a dark reputation in the apartment complex. As in, it wasn't the first time a murder-suicide had happened there. Fucking weird shit.

He's still alive? That's good to hear. There's this stray cat that roams around my neighborhood that's really friendly. I enjoy petting her and letting her sit on my lap. Once I was extremely upset and I prayed to God to let me see her so I could pet her and relax. I took out the trash to the curb and turned around to see her sitting in my driveway, waiting for me to finish so I could pet her. It made me feel better.

man i hate being allergic to cats. i straight up cannot touch cat fur without my hand feeling like it's got some sort of invisible itchy dust on it, it's hard to describe. double sucks too because i feel way more aligned with cats than i do dogs, at least in terms of vibes.

My cat is very small since she was malnourished when she was found. She just attached herself to me I wasn’t even taking care of her. She was named after the Salem witch trials (not by me) and then I found out on that blood moon Halloween we had a few years back that one of my ancestors was hung at the Salem Witch Trials. I was a scar actor too and I got the confirmation right before I went on set. She likes to be present when I do spellwork, I notice she sniffs and boops magical items when I get them which I call her “blessing” them. She’s helped me through immense trauma and is a certified ESS now. I love her like a daughter.

This one time I was having a distressing dream, so I woke up and ran crying into the front room where my cat Nala was laying, then I woke up again, then she came into my room purring like fifteen seconds later and sat on my chest all night.
Also one time while I was petting her I was having these thoughts about jumping homosexuals after some druggie tried to molest me, and then she woke up from her nap, turned her head, hissed at some invisible demon, then immediately went back to sleep, and she's never done that before.

Also, one time I sketched her face and she got all funny when I showed her.
Also, just hanging out in the Astral Plane, as one does.

i never believed that cats are special, until i actually got a cat.
i fell in love with the furry little bastard in a way i would never expect i can love an animal, he was like a baby to me.
i lost him 2 years ago (he was 19), and just thinking about him is making my eyes water and cry.

they really are incredible, spiritual creatures that connected with me in a deep, emotional way.

No wonder ancient Egyptians treated them with the utmost respect and had a death penalty for people who mistreated a cat.

I have no paranormal experiences with them per se, but whenever I am reading some book on occult and esoteric topics my cat always tries to see what I am reading, almost as if he wants to learn about it as well
He doesn't do that with any random novel or anything else, just religious or metaphysical texts
