This is something I have believed for years. Chris has all the markers of someone who's demonically oppressed. I would say that, yes, Chris chan is not possessed.
However, possession occurs in stages. I would say he is probably experiencing a lesser stage that doesn't qualify as full possession.

First thing, start changing your perception on life. Learn how to have a healthy attitude about things. You have got to get your mind set right, mental health is a huge part of this crap. Figure out ways to heal mentally.
Secondly, dig down deep into your spiritual practice.
These two things, you have gotta be relentless about. If you're tired, don't skip your practice-modify it. Same with whatever shit you do to fix your head.
With those two prongs, look for ways you can actively do good deeds in the world. Doesn't have to be anything huge, even doing the dishes for someone is enough. Just have an attitude of grace and compassion when you're doing it. Give the results of the action away to those who need it more and to god.
Rinse, lather, repeat.
Blessings build up with continuity of practice and time. This will eventually thin out your familial curse if you have one.
Again, don't fall behind on the first two prongs no matter what. That's where most people get shoddy.
