I am very deeply fascinated by oscillations and waves, because basically everything in nature, the human body, the cosmos is some form of oscillation or wave. We even say we are "on the same wavelength" with a person, if we understand each other well. I read a few books on the topic but almost all of them are from the materialistic/technological jewish modern physics point of view. Does any anon here know some good literature on the topic, that goes into the metaphysical or even paranormal implications of the topic? Thanks in advance.

I'm gonna take a stab and tell you to start with Egypt. Mythology, metaphysics, etc. Rene Schwaller de Lubicz has some good material that'll inspire you in this direction.

I have a masters degree in mechanical engineering, so I have a solid background about the physics of waves, especially all the electromagnetic radiation stuff and also about quantum physics, energy only existing in discrete quantum packages and the wave particale duality. As I said in my OP, the PHYSICAL field of waves is not the one I am interested in, hence most of your questions are not of interest to me, as I already know the answers.

I actually find writing music using the fractional method far more intuitive than standard notation. You can go really far with it just chaining together combos of Root * 3/2 * 2/3 * 4/3 * 3/4 in whatever pattern you want. As soon as you start dividing the scale into fifths or sevenths you start to get really juicy microtones (but not in a 'random' way, it'll sound non-standard but coherent)

On the topic of frequencies in music, there's a lot of absolutely retarded shit out there wrt the whole "432hz is better than 440hz". You'll have people taking an mp3 of a song that was recorded in 440 & just tuning the whole thing down 8hz, which A) doesn't work and B) shows they don't actually have any understanding of *why* 432hz is meaningful. To do it proper you have to construct each note individually by multiplying together numbers from the exponential series of 2 and 3 (again, you could just as easily introduce exponents from other primes like 5 or 7 if you wanted to get jiggy with it). That's why 528hz is special. If you just took a standard tuning song & bopped it down 8hz the C5 wouldn't be 528hz, it'd be like 515.251hz. Wouldn't work. You need to rebuild the whole song from scratch

Then when you get it, read stuff from old philosophers and alchemists and you'll understand how they were thinking and what they were trying to say.
