Humanity is the elder race, we just forgot how to use our minds properly, look at mnemonics and speed mental mathematics for example (also relational frame training, wich can actually improve general intelligence), and meditation wich causes the brain to grow and gyrify.
There's a reason why modern technology is progressively destroying every single human cognitive ability, why should one memorize something when you can immediatly find it on the internet or just write it down? Why learn speed mathematics when you can just use a calculator? And lately why learn to think and solve problems when you can just ask ChatGPT?
