I don't understand the hatred for what is essentially a pacifist religion. I sometimes attend Hindu temples, they're peaceful locations and soothe my anxiety disorder. Instead of using hinduism to gain greater conscious awareness, it actually cultivates apathy in the average hindu. It's not though. If you read any of the Vedic texts, you realize the religion Hindus practice and the guiding texts dont align. For instance, drawing the concept of Ahimsa (non-violence) from the Gita (book about Arjun going to war with his family).
