This intrigues me. I would like to become an exorcist, but seeing the complicated process of being a priest and then all the paperwork required for the Vatican to approve an exorcism discourages me. Is it really necessary to go through so much paperwork beforehand to spiritually help a person free themselves from demons?

There was a funny story I read on Reddit about this grandma who was gifted and could easily see spirits and stuff. One day her daughter was scared cause there was a demon in their house (demons and spirits are naturally attracted to those who can sense them). She said as soon as grandma saw it, she screamed "get the fuck outta my house!" With absolute conviction and the demon poofed away like a scared cat.

He is a dying breed, unfortunately. The Catholic Church, despite being in many cases pure of major theological rewriting for the sake of wordly opinion and mood, is less and less fearful of the devils work and his demons. Because yes, the devil is real and so are his minions and those that divinate to spread his evil, it is said so in Revelations. I pray for the Church. I pray we do not forget too easily the genuine concern we must feel when it comes to the coming of the Antichrist.
