>what are brainzaps?
Imagine snapping your fingers and for a second or two, your brain has an instant migraine pain like "zap." It could feel like your whole head at once, or it travels from temple to temple.
Now imagine you never snapped your fingers at all, and your brain randomly does this while on ssri's/series.
Source: started with Lexapro, moved on to adding buspirone, then transitioned to only desvenlafaxine. It doesnt help at all when youre natural prone to migraines beforehand anyways.

>Speaking from experience, SSRIs simply make you more able to bear a shitty life, they do nothing to fix the shittiness
This, OP. Im tapering off my desvenlafaxine at the moment, as another anon said it just helps you perceive everyone and every event as less annoying.
>They also prevent you from using psychedelics - these help you see your shitty life in a different light and might help you find solutions
Once I was finally off Lexapro and buspirone, and had time in-between ending those and starting desvenlafaxine, had my first mushroom trip (2-3g). I do plan on trying microdosing crushed shrooms (.75g)in capsules. Life looked more beautiful in the days after stopping them, so I look forward to seeing how microdosing can help.
If other anons have microdosing advice, I'd like to know. Not sure if the schedule should be daily or like a few days on and a few off kinda thing.
