I've tried to become a "real Christian" but everytime in say in songs or words when priests talk about how God "He loves you" I simply don't have that kind of connection to a male father. Like I don't feel close or any close love. Personally for me I could have a greater sense of that with a divine feminine type of thing. Does that mean I'm just fucked or what? I'd appreciate all opinions. Thanks for your time.

Same exact story here - tried the Christian thing for like 15 years. Eventually I kinda figured God Jesus whatever didn't want me, and I explored other deities. I finally settled on Lilith, I am her devotee and she gives me the feeling of presence, being listened to, and love God never did.

My theory is that when we're born, we're chosen to be the children of specific deities. Most are chosen by the 3 (or 2 however you count it) Abrahamic gods, and people like us just simply weren't chosen. Explore other deities anon

The early Gnostics observed that Fathers' (mens') love tends to be much more conditional and transactional, and that the Holy Trinity of Father/Son/Holy Ghost that is typically considered to be three distinct male components would be unable to create life. Thus, they believed the Holy Ghost/Spirit to be feminine and matronly. In most human experience, it is our mothers that are the most unconditional in their love for us (abusive or neglectful relationships notwithstanding), and thus they believed that there must be a Holy Mother. You see elements of this even in Catholicism, with the worship and reverence of the Virgin Mary.

Without that unconditional love, we are not whole individuals and develop insecurities and fears. You're not wrong, but you've stumbled on an old road that has been deliberately hidden for a long time.

Do you have an actual reason for denying the gift of salvation? The word of God says that salvation is not based on your works, like proving that we have enough trust or something like that, but by just trusting in Jesus Christ and what He did for us, not our own abilities.
