I think so honestly. Nowadays, some of the niche areas can remind me of my favorite times on 420chan (RIP).
The low-effort types who see anonymous posting as a wall to smear their shit on can't maintain it for long in smaller, slower settings.

I don't really see it happening unless someone else buys the site and puts in effort to clear out a lot of the bad actors and bots. If every anon died tomorrow you'd still be seeing a lot of the same threads and discussions being spammed. I've been a /tv/ regular for a long time and it's unbelievably shit at the moment.
