How realistic is it that we end up in a timeline where something closely resembling the Imperium of Man exists? If globohomo fails it seems almost inevitable. Thoughts?

This could also happen when the O9A somehow manages to win by summoning their vindex.
One of their goals is to create a Galactic Imperium.
Considering that their acausal realm is basically the warp and their dark gods is basically chaos, it would however more closley resemble whatever Abaddon has going on.
