Why does smoking weed to numb your emotions turn you into the same person?
I've noticed that whenever people smoke weed with the explicit purpose of numbing their emotions, they turn into essentially the same person.
Regardless of age, they develop certain personality traits and behaviors. It's very odd to see. I'm sure there's a biological/psychiatric reason, but what's the spiritual reason?
Plant spirit takes over the mind. Same thing with tobacco, mushrooms, etc.

So are people who are smoking to avoid feelings more vulnerable to it? Because if this is the "form" of the weed spirit, it seems like it promises the peace but makes them more fearful and weak.
