If one were to ask God for assistance in good deeds, to share the load and push things in your favour, is it truly you that is behind your own good deeds? Are they even yours to begin with when the heaviest and most crucial parts of them are dictated by Gods will and not your own? To do good deeds and not pray for assistance or to pray endlessly for it?
