I think this was what OP was implying. Yet Mormons have clean, beautiful, thriving communities, keep their word, and are honest in business. Can't say that about many groups of people, especially the Hindu 2.0 (Moses edition) we call Islam.

Anyway, I'm not saying it's good or bad... in fact many learned people, who were forced (forged?) to make due with Islam managed to make something worthwhile with it during the Abbasid & Ottoman Caliphates (neither of which, ironically, had much to do with Arabs... but the contrary).
