I remember that a while ago somebody prompted an ai image generator with "found footage of the afterlife" and got some interesting results. That might have been years ago, but I did the same thing and got a couple good ones. Here they are.

They're not terrifying, that's why I specifically said "unsettling." I find it unsettling that the AI can even create these pictures.
But imagine this actually being some sort of purgatory/afterlife. Wandering through corridors and rooms that permeate with the illness of modernity, hunted by things that look like that, seeing shadow people and others presumably trapped like you that have succumbed to it. AI in general is gay and retarded, it cannot make anything interesting or compelling, but the ideas that it conjures in my head are, and that one is at least unsettling.

I truly feel like AI has cheapened this genre of image. there's a great many reasons I don't like AI images but especially for /x/ like what the fuck is going on in >>41429072 thats weird that makes you wonder "who made this, who took this photo" than you have >>41427259 and its just made by a computer hallucination.
