ITT we discuss the TI phenomenon, which has exploded in the number of people suddenly afflicted with mystery, inconsistently symptomatic experiences of mental illness. A lot of us go down the therapy and meds route, but eventually when those stop working and nothing changes, it makes sense that we'd look externally for answers. Turns out it's a hell of a rabbit hole. I'm not here to convince anyone that believes it's all mental illness, as I am certain there's a decent blend of actual schizo's out there as well as those whose symptoms come external to the body. Instead, just here to offer resources and anecdotes that may help any TI's on their way. You probably know as much as I do by now that there isn't a reasonable way to put a stop to it, but fortunately you can live a relatively normal life in spite of the ongoing harassment.

For starters, some resources for anyone wanting to learn what this thing actually is. While it's impossible to figure out specifics, we do know it ain't supernatural. Historical cases were just schizophrenia that those perpetrating the remote electronic interference of the TI phenomenon have been able to imitate, both as a means of getting targets to discredit themselves (via diagnosis), and to provide perfect cover for anyone wondering if it's technological. After all, if it was happening before all the existing patents were made, how could it be humans doing it? It's just rich and powerful humans fucking with us proles. Here's a paper going deep on that point in particular. It's a distraction tactic.

What is it - is it mental disorder or something external?
> Far too many of us ending up thinking we're just having hallucinations because that's what everyone says it is, and far too many people who have a genuine mental illness beginning to manifest bumping into a TI thread and accepting this as the explanation, never getting the treatment they need. There's a lot of really unfortunate overlap. No matter what case you fall under, you deserve better.

Overcoming the phenomena - What worked for me to regain sense of agency and control over my life despite the ongoing experiences. This one was written using two years of my journal entries, which I began using at some point to keep track of my own day to day life as well as whatever they were trying that particular day.
Patterns do emerge over time. You definitely begin to notice things. Plus, the act of getting all that info out of your head and onto some paper / a doc helps a lot with mental health in general.

The goal of isolation and doubt - why they want you alone, unsure, and without a support network
This dives into the methodology and reasons behind why they focus so much on getting you to self-isolate, whether by simulating conversations between people you know to make you distrust them or just by stress and overwhelm.
> NOTE: Any TI's here that are thinking their friends, family, coworkers, even neighbors are somehow spying on them or working for the government or in any way are seeming to act shady, make sure you double-check your perceptions. Most people are well-meaning, no matter how much circumstantial evidence the voices peddle out to support the gestating mistrust of those closest to you.

Semi related, this thread goes into the motivations behind why they would do things in such a convoluted way. A lot of it is long-term social and psychological breakdown and conditioning.

Debunking a lot of the spooky airs around how this thing is done to us. No specifics are known but a lot of people smarter than me have worked out what it could be.

This is basically how I learned all that I know about this thing, besides corroborating it with other TI's experiences.

Focus study on the "thought insertion / injection" thing some of us experience. Turns out it's just suggestion, subaudlble cues, and a *lot* of behavioral training over a long time to try to shape the way you perceive things. If you think you're being mind controlled, you aren't, they're just very convincing about it.
