If people get abducted by aliens and see their faces, are aliens then exposed to air-borne human diseases? Do they not know about diseases? I guess they could just be entirely different to us, such that our diseases and bacteria can't penetrate their cells, or they're just incompatible biologically. But fundamentally, shouldn't these "advanced peoples" be in alien hazmat suits when they get up close?

It would be disastrous. Consider that to have a stable trip across the galaxy, over 10's of thousands of years or more, they won't be traveling with lots of weird diseases living on their ships with them.
Just like they won't understand the languages we've made up here, they also won't know about our awesome diseases. While some may not transfer to them, others probably will.
This is the same reason that nobody will be getting on a ship imo, but if we are lucky some brave antibody types will be joining us here once again.

According to "Victor", the whistleblower who leaked the area 51 alien interview; aliens (at least the one in the video) are not susceptible to human diseases and vice versa. They are however vulnerable to developing bacterial colonies inside of their lungs which is what the alien in the footage seems to be suffering from.

yeah how come it doesn't blink if its eyes are that big and it's getting a flashlight beamed directly into them? If you wanna believe it's real I guess you could subscribe to the "alien sunglasses" theory where they just keep big lenses in their eyesockets like wearing sunglasses, and what we see isn't actually their eyes.
