I am praying to God that he kills me. I want to die. I want for my life to end.

Does God respond to these?

Usually no. Killing yourself is easy, just open your veins or whichever method, it's not as painful as it sounds. To be so lazy you won't even take your own life, then to beg the Almighty to do it, is the height of disrespect.

Now, praying for God's help to get you to do it is a little better, but you shouldn't do it non-stop countless times since the Almighty hears you every time and it'll sound whiny and entitled. A dash will do.

Also the Almighty responds to the truth of your heart. There are people being tortured praying for death, but death isn't REALLY what they want, but freedom, etc. It sounds a lot like telling obvious, and whiny, lies to the Almighty. It's possible to kill oneself with will if required, but most people who "want to die" have never wanted life more. Some never lived any, and want it that much more.

The usual thought process goes: death is better than whatever this is
If OP were to attain enlightenment, he wouldn't have an active desire to die. Instead he'd stop giving a fuck like the rest of us. Does not giving a fuck change the base nature of reality? No, but reality itself never gave a fuck about us so it puts you in harmony with the universe.
