>With your hands in my face you can cause me trouble,
>But with this counter to your eyes, I will cause you even more trouble.
>This is the counter to the fourteenth play [20], and to any other play where my opponent has his hands in my face while grappling with me. If his face is unprotected, I push my thumbs into his eyes. If his face is protected, I push up under his elbow and quickly move to a presa or a ligadura.
14th century Italians already figured it out while jews were busy biting each other dicks off.

eye gouging is just "realistic" dim mak for the urban self-defense audience. both are supposed to be super dangerous attacks that will demolish anyone. both are "too deadly" to train. both never happen irl. both have a bunch of LARPers who can't fight.

It is dangerous to use it in drills or sparring but it is super effective. It's a key arsenal in Jon Jones' gameplan.

i have a few bouncer friends who swear by just putting your hand in a dudes face, you dont have to do any damage, just covering his face is usually quite effective

Fucking around with people's depth perception is something untrained people have no answer for. Even on high level it's not entirely solved. You often see a southpaw stick his hand far out against an orthodox fighter and it's an effective style

Orson Scott Card writes about it a bit in the Alvin Maker series. It must have been quite a spectacle to watch one of those fights, back in the day, but I'm skeptical about how common it actually was. Of course, the sort of people involved aren't the kind to keep comprehensive records, so we'll never know. A shame, it was by all accounts something quite unique.

Even within the context of the FICTIONAL example you are using Oberyn only lost because he was trying to force the mountain to confess before finishing him off

Size matters in a fight. It doesn’t determine everything, and leaner guys can definitely be great fighters, but there’s a reason for weight classes, and it’s not to protect the larger guys from the smaller ones. Everyone knows this.

I took a bullet because the cunt said he could shoot me cause it's a crime - he vanished. Newton's laws and fmxa are designed to take crime by kingdoms, those pains that show up at the end when your better - that's the force and you notice it was checking when U got shot too, they wait - so it don't work - if you sorta tell them to activate straight away not at the end - they can make your opponent vanish (if your lawful and they are criminal)
