How do we feel about adults using scooters?
Yes, I'm insecure about it because I'm considering getting one to get to places faster and overall do a little exercise but I don't want to look like a twat.
>>238022 (OP)You'll look like a massive faggot. Get a skateboard or a bike like a real man. Imagine being an adult and still riding a scooter
If space and/or the ability to carry it with you in public transport, bring it in your flat or at your workplace etc is a concern, then scooters are a really good options for big cities yeah.
However if that's not such an issue, you really should go for a bike instead. Much safer to ride, easier to repair, you'll get more exercise, etc. And it looks a bit less stupid.
>>238031>>238032I DO have a bike but I also live on a third floor so lifting it through the stairs every day soons becomes annoying.
If you think about it, lifting it could count as another short exercise I guess.
>>238022 (OP)Scooters are kinda lame. Maybe consider a longboard.
On the other hand, I barely see regular scooters anymore and all the kids ride around on electric scooters and are fat as shit, so scooters may actually wrap around into being cool again as a reaction to that
>>238022 (OP)moped or a cruiser are less twat-coded
being insecure is also twat coded thoughbeit
Get an electric skateboard but be prepared to die unless you've skated before and maybe you will anyway.
>>238022 (OP)It's a twat conveyance. This is unavoidable.
I honestly couldn't care less. Worrying about other people's habits is for teenagers and control freaks.
