While that's probably true, the nice thing about ordinary requests is that I feel like I can mess around more compared to commissions and the like. I get where you're coming from but I don't mind doing free art if it's contributing to something bigger. I came back after the hack and felt sad that drawthreads stayed the same, it's just fulfulling soulless requests for some anon over and over. Hmmm, I think I can help some. If you want to do a complete side profile, only one eye and one boob will be seen (realistically you may see both breasts, but since we’re talking about stylization, we should only focus on form definitions). Now, the tricky part for a side profile, at least for me is the eyes, mouth, nose area because no matter what you do it’ll look funny if you’re not used to drawing from that angle. I’m not by my tablet or I’ll I would provide an example, I’ll get you in a bit.
If you would like to show both eyes/boobs , what you’re is the 3/4th angle (the character is facing a diagonal) which is what your character’s head seems to be doing. The tricky part of a 3/4th angle is the eye furthest away from (You) is going to look a bit different because it won’t be completely touching the other side of the face.
This also comes down to your personal style. You just have to keep playing with it until you find a baseline where it’s satisfying to you, until you are ready to improve on it again. Would you mind if I redline this, it’s cool if you don’t, I just feel like visuals help better than words smts.

Thanks anons, I don't have any formal training so I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to a lot of the terminology, but yes 3/4th angle is what I was going for. I need to do more studying on art theory. The redlines and AI definitely helped me with figuring out why it looks off. It's a little frustrating, seems like one of those things that's just hard to grasp until you get enough experience. I wish I could improve faster.

I've never drawn anything since im stuck at a kindergarten level so I wouldn't say it's something to do with art theory or studying anything.
I think it's moreso just exposure to art itself and acceptance that certain poses might be borderline impossible to get to look right - hence why people opt for the character's head slightly turned.
If you're persistent on the angle in the initial drawing I think you should start from an easier one with the character looking towards the viewer and then slowly adjust that into a more profile'y look to find your own way of drawing it.

Anyway in regards to your initial sketch and comparing with AI I think the biggest issue was the nose location - if you move it to the left and a bit up it should fix everything. If it's too much "looking at viewer" then (her) left eye is angled wrong.
But I digress, the tits look like they've weight to them and sag naturally so that and the rest of the body puts you above the average artist, even if her face looked slightly off you could chalk it to a minor issue (how many "professional" visual novel artists fuck up simple CGs like this way worse? Yeah uhh. Many.)

Don’t worry about that either. I learned angles from theatre class and how to construct bodies from anatomy/phisology and I am STILL learning new things. Realism does help you eventually stylize, but you have to refind your style all over again.

You will! You just have get comfortable with a flow and improvement will come faster than you realize, I promise. If it helps, take the attractive pieces from the artists you like and slowly incorporate it into your own art. Do it one by one and once you feel like you have that down, add another. Also, try being loose when you draw. Tightening up hinders one’s drawing ability and ofc have fun. If it stops being fun and starts making you mad, put it away for a bit and come back.
