She decides to take a risky shot from far away to try to get an eagle, and then it fades into her flackback. And then right in the middle of that it cuts to her making the shot and the sheer whiplash genuinely makes the moment so fucking hype. I remember reading this chapter on Mangaplus when it came out and I audibly yelled "YO" because it was just that well executed.
And you know what? Despite GGG getting axed it STILL had a more conclusive and satisfying ending than most "natural" WSJ endings. It was only three volumes, yet it feels like all the major characters got some degree of growth and were ready to start the next chapter of their lives.

I couldn’t agree more with your take on Hima-Ten!. Been following it since chapter 1 and honestly, it's wild how underrated it still is. Like you said, it’s that perfect blend of comedy and slow-burn romance that doesn’t feel forced or overly tropey.

I especially love how Tenichi isn't your usual romcom lead—dude actually has responsibilities, goals, and doesn’t fall apart the second a cute girl talks to him. And Himari? Total queen. At first I thought she was gonna be just another spoiled rich girl, but the way her character softens over time without losing her spark? Chef’s kiss.
