In chapter 17, Yaesaki and Oga are having their golf match and Oga is getting really fired up. She decides to take a risky shot from far away to try to get an eagle, and then it fades into her flackback. And then right in the middle of that it cuts to her making the shot and the sheer whiplash genuinely makes the moment so fucking hype. I remember reading this chapter on Mangaplus when it came out and I audibly yelled "YO" because it was just that well executed.
And you know what? Despite GGG getting axed it STILL had a more conclusive and satisfying ending than most "natural" WSJ endings. It was only three volumes, yet it feels like all the major characters got some degree of growth and were ready to start the next chapter of their lives.
